The monster inside

Prologue-
Every morning since the day my brother left, he left me notes taped to my window, I never knew how he got up onto the third floor, but it was the only connection to him I had. Some nights I would leave him a note to find and the next morning there would be a response. I liked the system we had. It was simple. I wanted to meet my brother, I can't remember what he looks like.. That's the sad thing, he left when I was five, this year, tomorrow, will be the 20 year anniversary of the day he left. I though the had abandoned me, leaving me with my abusive dad, our mom passed away when I was 4, she had lung cancer and passed away in her sleep.
Chapter one- remind me again.
This morning when I woke up there was my usual note taped to the window, I went over to my window and tugged the note off of it.
'Chayben, I miss you, you're getting old. I may pop in on your birthday if I can, dad won't be home tonight... He thinks he got a text from his boss to stay at work late. Hehe, the text was from me! MUAHAHAHAHA!

My brother was a dork sometimes and I wish I knew what he sounded like or what he looked like. I'd gone through all the photo albums, nothing, no strange little boys or grown men. The most I knew about my brother was that he was 28 and that he played guitar. I sat down and wrote my response note.
'Jakey! You sneaky idiot... Dads gonna... He Uh... You know what.. Here's my number 866-740-4531... Text me or call me. I want to see my favorite band on my birthday, Black Veil Brides. The one on the poster you got me on my 14th birthday. I want a picture of you, I don't know what you look like. I miss you with all my heart. Can't wait to meet you!!!

I went up to my room, and taped the note to the window. My walls were covered in band posters. My favorite one was the one my brother gave me for my 14th birthday. It was a huge 6 foot poster that was hung neatly in the center of my wall.
