- So this is our home and yours too.- Jake smiled at me with his perfect lips.
-OMG, it is freaking huge, we- and I swallowed- we are under the ground?- I said totally delighted and with my mouth wide open.
-Yes we all live here!!- Jake exclaimed- Isn't is beautiful?- all around there were like 30 people, working, or talking, or laughing, living their lives here, under the ground.
-This is breathtaking! I only learned about living under the ground on history classes and I didn't believed it, but now I do- everything was amazing, I was totally impressed.
-Come on little girl, we have to move!- said Ashley and showed me the way.
-I'm not little- I said and made a fake angry face.
-Yes you are- and they all looked down at me, I actually was really short.
-OKOKOKOKOK I'm little, now let's go !!
We went to see everything, all the rooms, all the places. I saw Julie and Sara but they were still sleeping, so I just covered them with blankets and kissed their foreheads.
When we were walking towards a tunnel, I saw Andy, he was sitting on a rock, just thinking, and watching, but I don't think that he saw anything. He was totally lost in the sea of his thoughts. I think he felt that someone was watching him, he looked up, and looked around. When he saw that I was the one who was watching him, he got angry, and motioned to me- what's the problem- and shouted:
-What??!! I'm not a TV!- and he walked away angrily with crucified jaws.
-Oh jeez! What is his problem?- I asked Jake.
-I don't know!- but I think you know very well; I thought to myself; his face showed me that he knows- Just let him act like this, and when he is fine, you can talk with him normally- Jake said- Jake what are you hiding?- I asked myself.
-Ok, I just don't know what's wrong with him- i was teasing a little bit Jake, but Jinxx helped him with this.
-Don't you worry! Just keep going!
I let this thing, I was too tired right now, so we were just walking now in the tunnel.
-Where we going?- i asked amazed, while I was looking around.
-You'll see!!- CC shouted happily.
We were walking like for 5 minutes, I was getting more and more tired. I don't know if it was just me, but I felt that we were going up.
So after 5 minutes, I suddenly faced a door. Ashley opened it, but I couldn't see anything, because a bright light blinded me, so I automatically took Ashley's arm, to feel safe.
-Where are you guys taking me?! To Heaven?
-No, just out!- Jinxx said
A few seconds later, I could see something, we were next to a little lake, the sun was shining, and the water was sparkling, because of it. Everything was so so beautiful, like in a fairy tale, that I've always wanted, but then we something in the water. i couldn't believe my eyes.
-HEY!! LOOK!!- i said to Jinxx- there is someone in the water!!- i didn't even finished what I was saying, I was already running towards the lake, without thinking that is may be some kind of danger there.
-Wait! No! Helena!-Ashley shouted, but I just kept running towards the body in the lake, when I was there I ran into the water as fast as I could. The water wasn't so deep, but anyway I loved swimming, since i was a little baby. When I've got closer to the body, I knew it was dead, no doubt about it, I couldn't see her face, so i turned it, and then OMG, it was just a little child, she was just a baby girl, I think she was like 5, but she was dead, and not because of the water, she was shot in the heart, the water around us turned into a crimson red, and when I saw her face, I started to cry as loud as I could, her face was so sweet but full of pain, her hair was wet and a little bit red, but I could see that she had a dark blonde, long hair, her eyes were open, and they had the color of the lavender, yes she really had lavender eyes, and they were so beautiful, but dead, I closed her eyes and I held her close, that if she would be still alive, she would be breathless, I started to cry like a little baby, but I couldn't hold it back anymore. How could someone just kill a little child. My cry echoed through the whole place.
-Helena, what the ...OMG!!- said CC when they arrived.- OMG!! OMG !!- he just kept saying that like an old radio.
-Oh no, little Vanessa, nono- Jinxx said, and I could hear in his voice that he was about to cry soon.
-We need to get inside! NOW! Maybe we;re in danger too!!- Jake said and took Vanessa away from me.- WATCH OUT!!- he screamed and then gunshots heard from everywhere.
We started to run away from there, Ashley took my hand and started to pull me, but then I just could not do that anymore, I fell down.
-NONONO!! she is dead, why? How?- I said, but i could hardly breath.
-Come Helena, we need to move, everything is going to be OK!- Ashley said to me to calm me down, and took me up, he carried me bride style and i was just crying in silent, burying my face into his jacket.
When we quickly entered the tunnel, I was still crying, and this was the only sound that I could hear in that moment. Ashley was still carrying me, and Jake carried Vanessa. When we got back to the cave Ashley said to me while he put me down carefully:
-Hey Helena, look at me, we need to take Vanessa to her mother, and talk to our captain, do you want to come with us?- I saw worry in his dark eyes.
-No, I'm fine i'm just going back to my room!- I said in a weak voice.
-are you sure?
-Yes, yes , just go and do what you need to do now-i give them a small smile and motioned to them to go, so they walked away quickly and I started to go find my room, still fighting with my tears, to hold them back-Oh God it's so cold here- i said to myself, then i bumped into someone.
