The Wave
I ran across bare sand, the hot surface burning the soles of my bare feet. I saw someone up ahead. "Help! Help me!" They turned, saw the Shadow, and ran to me. He had light blue eyes and a diamond painted over one eye. "Run." I did, but saw he wasn't following. He put out his hand and fire came out. The Shadow crumpled. "You can do that? Me too! Only I have water." He stared at me. "What?" I showed him. "That's very rare."
