chapter 26: like birds who's wings are broken
Ashleys POV
i was worried sick. i was sat here waiting for andy and darcy to get back for hours, it was way past one in the morning and they still were not back to the bus.
"ash, you need to get some sleep," juliet said as she handed me a cup of coffee and a bowl of coco pops that darcy had me addicted to!
"no, not until shes here. not until i have her here safe in my arms..." i said emotionless, sat with dars balanket over my lap
"shes with andy, her father he wont let anything happen to her, you know that,"
"but that still doesnt stop me from worrying does it?"
"i know sweetie but if that douche lord is out there andy wont let him hurt her and she wont let him near andy... theyre to stubborn to let someone win in a fight. theyre the biersacks."
"i know and thanks for making me feel better juls i just need her back her,"
"i know, just when you get her back, dont let her go, promise me?"
"i promise, and i wont..." just as i said that andy carried my beautiful girlfriend in. she was asleep so he put her straight in our bunk. after that he told me about what happened at the hospital, how it was her ribs, how people are asking questions and how connor would be around here somewhere. now im worried. if he touches her again...BOOM... hes outta here.
i crawlled into bed next to her and kissed her forehead.
"About time ashyy," she whispered
"oi your awake?" i whispered back
"yup.i need to tell you something.."
"anythimg, whats going on sweetie?" i was starting to freak out to be honest.
"connor used to do this a lot and it made m do stupid stuff so if you see anything then yeah i didnt know what to do and it would have beeen worse but then the band realsed saviour.. that song saved me. made me realise what i was doing and how there are other wasy to get outta this kinda thing...ways to save me from me i guess but me and dad were talking and its right to tell you...im so so sorry im such a coward im sorry ash, im so sorry," tears dripped down the structure of her angel like face. she used to.. i cant believe that asshole gave her reason to do that.
"Babe, self harm and sucide isnt cowardly, make someone feel so bad they want to take their life is whats cowardly, your not a coward. you are so strong ad to do thatm take alot, and thats what he did to you, he is not worth a thing, hes scum." i heard her soft tears fall o my chest. when i find this guy imma kill him. and even then that wont help him.
