Dylan's POV-

As Ashton and I were kissing I got a text.... great timing...

''S-sorry...'' I stuttered to Ashton.

He just smiled in return with a slight blush, and moved a piece of hair out of my face, making me blush.

''It's fine, answer it.'' He said.

I nodded, and took out my phone.

James: a lot to say... text or face to face?:
Me: text it....:

I got slightly nervous.

''What's wrong?'' Ashton asked me.

I looked at him, ''Oh... It's just James is going to tell me something serious... I'm just expecting the worst as usual.''

He took my hand, ''No matter what it is... I'm here for you...''

I smiled.

James: Long story short- Sky got raped.... Only me, dad and her knew, and well mom just found out and shit went down....:

I was shocked, so I re read the message to see if I read it correctly.. I did... Sky was raped...

''Ashton...?'' I said.

''Hm?''

''Is it cool if I stay at your house tonight...?'' I whispered.

He nodded, ''Of course... can I ask why?''

''Family argument issues.'' I said.

He nodded, understandingly.

''Thanks, I just have to pick up some stuff'' I said.

''Okay.''

I replied to the message

:Oh... wow... I'm coming to get some stuff and I'm staying the night at Ashton's idk if I can deal with family drama tonight:
James: Okay, I'm thinking of doing the same thing, I'm crashing at Kate's:
Me: Kay:

''Okay, let's go...'' Ashton said, climbing down the tree, I nodded and jumped down.

~~time lapse~~

I opened the front door, and seeing no one was there in sight, I sprinted up the stairs and into my room, and shut the door quickly. I grabbed a bag and stuffed some clothes, pjs, and earphones and then ran back downstairs towards the door...

Mom was standing there, her makeup a complete mess.... crap i really don't want to deal with this right now...

''Mom...'' I mumbled.

She didn't look angry but she clearly looked upset.

''W-where's dad?'' I asked.

''H-he's gone out for a while with his friends...'' She replied, in a whisper.

I nodded....

''Where are you going?'' She asked.

''I-I'm going to Ashton's to stay the night, he said it was cool.''

She nodded, ''Okay, I understand. Sorry about earlier...''

I nodded, and walked over to her and gave her a hug.

''I love you mom...'' I said.

She gave me a sad smile and replied, ''I love you too..."
