It had been almost a week since the incident, & you still had the bite mark on your neck. It had healed a bit, but you could still see it from a mile away, which pissed you off immensely. You hadn't seen that guy again though, which was good, you never wanted to see that psycho again.
You had told Lily everything, everything that happened, everything you saw. & She believed you, she kind of has a thing for supernatural stuff, so she didn't doubt you for a second. Other than her though, you hadn't told a soul. The real story, anyway. You told everyone you had been harrased by some guy on the way home from Tony's cafe. He tried to get you to go home with him, you refused, & he started man hadling you. So you punched him & tried to run away. Long story short, you two got into a bit of a brawl, & you ended up up the ground (head first, obviously). You hadn't seen his face though, it was dark, blah blah blah.
"You guys showed up before he could do anything more, I'm fine, etc."
So they let it go.
You hated lying to them, but you were afraid this freak would come after you again if you got the cops involved. & They would definitely want to get the cops involved. They wouldn't believe you if you told them the truth, anyway. They'd think you were nuts, so you lied.
Lily understood completely & played along. She even helped you hide the mark. Styling your hair certain ways to cover it, letting you borrow her spiked choker (It was wide enough to cover the mark completely, unlike yours), or one of her scarfs. She even covered it with makeup from time to time. That was a very long process though & she could only do it if you both had time, which wasn't often.
Covering it today though was going to be a challenge, you were going to a show today, & was going to be outside. & It was warm out today, so makeup & scarfs are out of the question. The makeup would melt & if you wore a scarf, you'd melt. You couldn't use her choker either, she wanted to wear it today, so it was time for plan B. Hair. You just prayed it stayed in place.

Once you had finished getting ready, you looked over yourself in the mirror & fussed with your hair, for the tenth time.
"It's fine, stop obsessing, you can't see a thing. Zach & Beth won't be there & I highly doubt any member of your family will be there. So even if you can see it, why are you so worried? No one's going to even care. They'll be too busy drooling over the half naked men on stage anyway." Lily said, trying to cheer you up.
"I don't know.." You sighed. She walked up behind you & hugged you, resting her chin on your shoulder.
"Even if someone sees it, you can always just say you have a verrry kinky boyfriend." She giggled & kissed your cheek before skipping out of the bathroom. You laughed & shook your head.
"Hurry up, Bitch, we're going to be late!" She yelled.
"Cool your jets Miss 'I'm no fangirl', I'll be down in a second." You yelled back before grabbing your bag & walking out of the bathroom.
"Piss off." She stuck her tongue out at you, making you chuckle. She then proceeded to link arms with you & drag you outside & to her car.
"So, what is this band you want to see so badly, again?" You asked as you backed out of the driveway.
"Black Veil-Muthafuckin-Brides!" She grinned from ear to ear.
"Black what?"
