"What do you mean?" Andy asked you, trying to sound like he had no idea what you were talking about. His wide eyes & ghostly complextion gave it away though. You sighed & began to explain.
"There's a reason why I was else where for so long earlier.." He dropped his hands from your face & nodded, waiting for you to continue. "Right as I was about to come back out, Ashley came running in."
"I knew he was up to something.." Andy sighed, shaking his head.
"He said we needed to talk & well, he kind of told me to stay away from you." He tensed a bit, so you quickly grabbed his hands. "Not because you're a bad guy or anything! He actually said the complete opposite.. He just said it's dangerous for us to be around eachother." He relaxed a bit. "He said it would be best if we quit seeing eachother. If we didn't get involved with eachother.. & I told him it's a little to let for that.." You paused & chewed lightly on your lip, anxiously.
"Go on.."
"& I kinda showed him.. The mark.." His eyes widened in shock & he stared at you for a moment. Jaw nearly on the floor.
"You what.." He breathed, barely louder than a whisper. You opened your mouth to asnwer, but he cut you off. "You WHAT?!" He repeated, this time raising his voice & jumping off the bed. He turned to face you, his eyes were golden & glowing. His teeth, razor sharp, & this time. His face was distorted like it was the night in the alley. You hadn't seen him like that since that night. That meant you were in deep shit.
"You promised you wouldn't get mad." You whimpered, slightly scared. He was pissed. Beyond pissed, actually, & he was terrifying. You crawled back a little, trying to get as far away from him as you could without falling off of the bed.
"WHY would you do that??"
"I- I- I didn't think it was that big of a deal. You didn't tell me what it meant, after all. I- I didn't know I wasn't suppose to tell anyone. I'm sorry.." You stuttered, shaking now.
"Not that big of a deal?!" He growled, slamming his hands down on the bed, scaring you half to death. You coward away from him, burying your face in the bed, nearly in tears. It was silent for a moment, then you felt strong arms, wrap around you. Pull you up, & turn you around. Until your face was no longer buried in the bed sheet, but buried in Andy's chest, instead. You wrapped your arms around him & cried. "I'm sorry.. I didn't know.. I wasn't out to cause you any trouble.. I- I-"
"Shhh." He hushed you, running fingers through your hair, holding you tightly to him. "Stop apologizing, I over reacted. I'M sorry.." He rocked you a bit, like someone would rock their weeping child. "I'm such an ass.. I shouldn't be upset with you, Ashley hasn't ripped my head of yet. So you obviously did something to calm him down. I should be thanking you." He placed a kiss on the top of your head. You couldn't stop crying though, he scared the Hell out of you. You figured he's be mad, but not that mad. You sobbed into his shirt, while he rocked you back & forth. Running fingers through your hair & humming an unfamiliar song until you calmed down. "I'm so sorry.. I forget sometimes, how scary I can be." He apologized, guilt clear in his voice.
"Don't apologize, I don't blame you for being mad. Just don't do that shit again.. Please." You begged.
"Am I really THAT scary?" He asked, looking down at you.
"Yeah!" Your voice cracked a little bit, from crying, making him chuckle.
"I'm sorry. Truely, I am. I feel terrible.." He apologized again, sadly. "I never wanted to make you cry again, like that night in the alley.." A single tear, ran down his ivory face, leaving a trail of eyeliner behind it.
*He's really serious..* You thought, stunned. You wipped it away & pulled him to you. He buried his face in the crook of your neck & wrapped his arms tightly around you (you could barely breathe but you didn't say anything). You rubbed his back, your hand moving in soothing circles until he pulled away.
"You're so forgiving.. Why is that? After everything I've done.." He searched your jade colored eyes with his baby blues. For what exactly? You had no idea.
"I just can't help it. For some reason, I can't stay mad at you. I can't stay upset with you. I can't stay scared of you. I don't know why." You confessed, honestly.
"I know the feeling.." You didn't response, just sat there, searching his eyes as he did yours. You didn't know what you were searching for either, you were searching for something, though. After a moment's silence, you finally asked him the questions you were dying to ask.
"Why didn't you tell me what marking me really meant?"
"I was afraid if I told you right away, you either wouldn't believe me. Or you'd be very upset with me. I kind of did it without thinking & I wanted to wait until you knew me a bit more before I told you.."
"That makes sense.. I'm not upset with you, by the way. I'm shocked, but I'm not upset. & I told Ashley not to be upset with you either. I told him you & I would work it out."
"Thank you." He gave you an appreciative smile. You paused for a moment, slightly afraid to ask the next question.
"Why did you mark me?"
He stared at you for a moment, thinking.
"Ever heard of 'Love at first sight'?"
