You drove into the parking lot in front of a beautiful looking restaurant & he stopped the car. Hoped out & ran over to your side to open the door for you. He sure was a gentleman, when he wasn't trying to kill you, that is. He held out his hand to you, to help you out, you gladly accepted. He shut the door behind you, while you straightened out your skirt. He smiled sweetly at you, then grabbed your hand & started leading you to the entrance. You blushed a bit, the moment his hand touched yours, you couldn't help it. When he wasn't being "The Scary Guy", he was actually quite charming.
The place wasn't very packed, so you were seated as soon as you walked in.
"This place is nice. Maybe a bit too nice.." You said, peaking over your menu at him, whispering the last part under your breath.
"It's the least I could do.." He stared at his menu, avoiding eye contact. You reached over & grabbed his hand that was resting on the table.
"Hey, stop. It's water under the bridge." You smiled, trying to make him feel better. He was really trying to make it up to you. Yeah, he tried to kill you, & scared the living Hell out of you. He also saved your life, & apologized for everything later, & for some weird reason. You forgave him. He glanced up & gave you a sad half smile.
Your waiter came by soon after & took your orders. He took off again, & you decided to ask Andy a question or two while you waited for your food.
"Are there other beings, other than you? I remember you talking about Vampires the other day at the show. They're real too?" You asked, taking a sip of your iced tea.
"There are many, yes. Nearly every monster / supernatural being exists." You sat there, stunned.
"So, Vampires do exist?"
"Yes."
"Werewolves?"
"Yep."
"Ghosts?"
"Yep."
"Succubi?"
"Where there are Incubi, there are Succubi, so yes."
"Oh yeah, wow, I'm smart.. Um, Demons? Witches? Zombies?"
"Yes, yes, & no. Vampires are the only living dead creatures."
"Wow.. I feel like I'm in twilight or something." He laughed. You sat there for a bit, naming off supernatural beings until your waiter came back with your food.
"Thank you." You said after a while of silence. He glanced up at you, raising an eyebrow.
"For what?"
"For this." You smiled. "& Not killing me.. & Saving me, etc."
"You are most welcome." He grabbed your hand. "I couldn't even if I had to.." He brought it to his lips. "& I had to. I couldn't just let them hurt you." He kissed it. A swarm of Butterflies began whirling around in your stomache. You blushed & turned back to your food. You were starting to feel something for this kid, you had no idea what yet, but it was something strong. Even after what he did to you, you felt comfortable with him. Safe, happy. It was weird. Then again, you had always had a thing for bad guys. Dangerous guys.
Your bill came after a bit, & he snatched it away from you, before you could get to it. You didn't like people spending money on you, it was sweet, but you always wanted to pay for ATLEAST half.
"I'm paying for half of that." You said sternly, fishing your wallet out of your purse.
"Not going to happen." He said, holding it out of your reach. He opened it to see what the damage was & started to laugh. "You're whole meal was under $10, including the drink. Mine was over $25. Did you just order the least exspensive thing on the menu?"
"Maybe.." He laughed again & ruffled your hair.
"You're something else, you're definitely not like most girls. Next time though, you will order whatever you want. Money is of no issue when you're with a Rockstar." He said, foolishly striking a pose. You couldn't help but giggle. Then you thought about what her said.
*Next time? There's going to be a next time?*
He paid, though you protested, then walked you back out to the car.
"Ready to party?" He asked as he opened you're door for you, giving you a goofy grin.
"You might have to roll me in, but sure." You joked, patting your full belly. He laughed & helped you in (again). Then jumped in on his side & took off.
On the way, you realized you forgot to ask him a question that's been bugging you since the show.
"Are you the only supernatural being in the band?"
"Nope, none of us are human. CC's a Vamp, along with Jinxx. Jake is a Wolf, & Ash is an Incubus as well. Some of the girls are too, I always forget who's what, but I'm sure they'll tell you what they are tonight. They'll be there along with the guys."
*Christ..*
"I hope I'm not the only human.."
"Don't worry, I don't think you will be. Even if you are, nothing will happen. You're mine, remember? No one can touch you without going through me first." He reached over & squeezed the hand you had resting on your thigh.
*Oh boy, this should be fun. I really, really hope I don't end up as someone's snack.*
