It started with my sister (CC version)

I wake up to my shirt wet and someone sounding like there gasping for air. I realize that I'm holding Candy and she's holding me with what seems like all her might. I feel her hands behind my back clinching my shirt, making it rise off off my torso. Her face barred in my chest. I hear sobs and whimpers coming from her. I move her hair out of her face; of what I can see she is still asleep. I kiss her forehead and wraps my arms back around her, rubbing circles in her back. I gently wispier "Candy it's ok. It's just a dream. It's just a nightmare, wake up. I'm here for you." I wispier that over and over again until she wakes up.

She moves her body a little bit then looking up at me with her tear filled eyes. Her green eyes sparkling like emeralds. "CC?" she says with a puzzled look.

"Yea." I say a bit groggy.

"What are you doing her?"

"Well you fell asleep in Andy's car wall I was driving you home."

"Why are you in my bed?"

"I was about to leave when when you started to say in her sleep don't go. I tried leaving but I started feeling extremely guilty about leaving you.So I came back inside and started hearing you violently cry. You where having a nightmare. I tried to calm you down. Once I did I got up off your bed. I was going to sleep on your couch so you wouldn't be alone if something like that happened again. Right when I go toff the bed you started whimpering so I sat on your bed and played with your hair so you would know someone is there. I guess I must of fallen asleep."

She untangles herself from me and sits up. I then proceed to sit up. She says "Oh . I'm used to being alone." It breaks my heart to hear her say that.

She gets up off the bed and walks over to her window, looking out to the night sky full with stars shinning brightly and the moon brightening the sky even more. "No one really sticks around or has time for has time for me. Over the years I just got used to it. I know they like or love me, but yea..." She pauses still staring out the window. "Sorry about your shirt."

What? I look down at my shirt seeing black make up smears on it. "Don't worry about it."

"Yea but I ruined two of your shirts already."

"The first shirt was my fault. I forgot about the open pocket knife, and it was my chose to use my shirt for the cut I caused." When I said cut she started looking at her hand. I get up and walk to her wall saying "These shirt I can just wash out the make up and it's a little tight on me. I think it might be Ashley's not mine." I get behind her embracing her in a hug. She looks up at me her emerald eyes popping, her skin glistening from the moonlight. I wish time could could stop so I could look up at her beautiful face forever. She turns around facing me. I take my thumps , tracing under her eye lids wiping away her tears.

"CC..." She pauses as if looking for the words to say. "...I think I have another shirt for you to wear." I force myself to let her go. She goes over to her closet and pulls out a white button up shirt. She walks up to me wall saying "Here you can have this shirt. It's to big on me and scents your taller I figured it would fit you better."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. I'll step out so you can change." She steps out before I can say anything.

"I guess I should get going then. Thank you again for the shirt."

"CC can.." She pauses looking scared and vulnerability until she says. "Can you stay with me." As she says those words my heart beats faster.

"Yea I can if you really want me to."

She nodes her head looking down at the ground sniffling and holding my wrist. I wrap her in a hug standing there holding her not saying a word.

I let go her grabbing her by the hand leading her to the bed. I lay her down and lay beside her wrapping her in a hug. She wraps herself around me bearing her head into my chest. I lay my head on top of her's humming softly. I don't know why but this feels so right, holding her how I am. Just feels right to me. I slowly hum both of us asleep.
