Walk Away

last night after i went shopping & all i went to sleep. i woke up to the bright sun shining through my window. i eventually woke up & went into the bathroom so i could get ready for Matt's friend's party. i did my hair, makeup,& out fit. once i was satisfied with my look, i checked the time. 3;30 i still have an hour & 30 mins left.i decided to text Matt while i waited.

Me;
im ready but there's still another hour & there's still 30 mins to waist :P

Matty the fatty;
that's cool well i'm here at birthday boy's party. i'll come get you by the time im there & back the party will start :D

Me;
OK, sounds great! :)

I put my phone down & wen't to use the bathroom quickly. once i was done i washed my hands & did a quick make-up check. i heard a loud beep i looked out the window to only find Matt in his car waving & smiling. i rushed down the stairs & grabbed my keys, phone & jacket. i jumped in the car & put all my things in the back seat. i turned around & hugged the living hell out of Matt.

"I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH JAY!"

"me too Matt"

i guess i failed in mentioning i haven't seen Matt in 1o months.... He went on tour. i remember the night he told me he was leaving. the fight. hurtful things were said that night.

~FLASHBACK THIRD PERSON'S POV~

Matt was nervouse he was scared, he didn't know how Juniper would take the news that he was going on tour for 10 months. would she be happy for him, or explode? Matt just kept driving down the road. 'why does she have to live so dam far?' Matt thought. Juniper moved in the suburbs shortly after her 18th birthday party. he parents helped her. it was thier gift to her. she wanted to move because she was noticing herself getting attached to people. she didnt want to re-live the whole Andrew incident.

Matt finally arrived at Juniper's house. He turned off the car & took a deep breathe. He opended the door & walked up to her front door. He knocked. Juniper heard the knock from upstairs.

"yeah, yeah i know! im comming!"

Juniper yelled & walked down the stairs. she opened the door. When she opened the door she was happy to see Matt but saw the sorry, guilty & scared look in his eyes. He came in for a hug.

"Hey Jay"

He said. They hugged for a bit until she pulled away.

"So what brings you here Matt?"

"We need to talk."

Juniper was worried & scared of what he might say. Matt was also scared of her reaction would be.

"S-sure yeah. Come in."

She walked towards the living room, he followed behind her. She sat on a couch. He sat next to her.

"Wel....I-I'm going on...tour.."

He mumbled the 'tour' part.

"I'm sorry where are you going?"

"I'm going on tour."

Juniper just sat there in confusion. Why would he be so nervous? He's been on tour before. She thought.

"Well that's not a big deal you've been on tour before. You'll be gone for what, 3 month?"

Matt sighed. Here comes the hard part. He thought.

"That's what I was hoping."

"W-what do you mean, 'hoping'?"

Matt took a deep breath. He knew what was about to come....

"Well normally we would go on tour for 2-3 months, 4 at the most. But...."

"But?..."

"Well since we've been touring & jag ing out with this other band & doing opening acts for them we've been getting noticed more. Some record label heard about us & book us a good tour for .. 10 months.. "

Matt looked deep into Juniper's eye's. Searching for emotion. Juniper didn't know how she felt. Mad, sad, happy, scared. She's happy his band & him were becoming big. But 10 whole months by herself. Not only that. Andrew. She didn't want to relive that. She can't lose matt. She just cant. He means so much to her. He's been there for here. & this might take that all away. She knew she should have never gotten close to him. This is all to painful for her.

"10 WHOLE MONTHS!?"

She didn't know how she felt. So she just screamed ay him. One thing led to another. Hurtful things were said, that is untill....

"WELL MAYBE THAT TUMBLR KID LEFT FOR A FUCKING REASON! TO GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM YOU!"

by this point Matt was frustrated & had tears in his eye's. Juniper just stood there. Emotionless. She didn't know what to do. Tears filled her eyes & soon enough they began to fall. He was breathing heavily. Matt didn't Realy think about what he said to her. He remembered how much "Tumblr kid" mentioned to juniper.

"H-How could you s-s-say that?.."

She said taking heavy deep breaths in.

"Jay, please I'm sorry.. I don't know what to say? I NEVER meant or thought it would hurt you this bad. I'm so sorry. I-I it's just....10 months...you-"

Matt began crying. Juniper could still see his eyes full of guilt & sorry. She walk towards him & wraped her arms around him.

"It's okay maty. I should have expected this since I met you. Your an amazing guy, of course this day would come. & I guess that day is here."

Matt wiped tears of her eyes & his & slowly wraped his arms around her. He smiled & pulled away from her.

"Thanks...I love you jay."

"I love you too Matt."

~END OF FLASHBACK JUNIPERS POV~

"JAY! WE'RE HERE!"

I must have gotten lost in my own thoughts. I smiled at him & took a deep breath in.

"Come on."

Matt ran across the car & opened the door for me. I smiled at him I told 'thank you'. I grabbed all my things & walked towards the door.

"So does birthday boy live here?"

"No he lives 2 hours away from here. He rented this house for the night because he didn't wanna set his own on fire."

FIRE!?! I opened my eyes widely I'm guessing Matt noticed & started laughing

"Not literally jay."

"Oh. Ok. Good. So what's birthday boy's name?"

"Andy."

Andy? Hmm sounds a bit childish & funny. He should have more of a proper name like....Andrew. Andrew. Now I miss Andrew. But it's been 5 Years. He probably doesn't even remember my existince. I shouldn't even be thinking about him. Matt tells me Andr- well, 'Tumblr Kid' is an ass for ditching me like that.

"I would take you to him but he's busy right now."

"It's no big deal, really."

"Wanna get a drink?"

"Sure ."

"Follow me & try not get lost."

Matt grabbed my hand & pulled me through the big crowd of people. We managed to get to the kitchen. He grabbed 2 beers. I drank some of it I haven't really gotten drunk other than with...Andrew Matt... we've gotten drunk a few times together. Suprisingly nothing has happened between us two. I mean we've kissed like...4 times... but they didn't really mean any thing to us. We were just Two drunk best frinds in the same room.
