Mr Purdy took me back to his apartment and set me on the counter in his kitchen. He gave me an ice park for my eye. He cleaned my nose and dabbed a tissue on my lip.
"How do you feel?" He asked softly.
"I'm okay." I mumbled.
Stupid fucking preppy guys beating me up.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Mr Purdy."
"Please, outside of school call me Ashley."
"Okay, Ashley."
He smiled at me. "Would you like a drink, Andy?"
"Water, please."
I got handed a bottle of Abbey Well. I took a sip.
"Why were they beating you up, Andy?"
I looked down. "Same reason they were having a go at me at lunch. And they were pissed about the detentions."
"Stupid kids." He mumbled. "If they give you any more hassle, let me know, okay?"
"I will, Ash. Thanks."
That got me a smile. "Who are you staying with?"
"My friend, Jayy."
"Okay, do you want to go home?"
I nodded. "Please."
Ashley lifted me off the counter. "I'll be back in a minute, okay?"
"Okay, Ash." I said, trying not to blush.
A picture on his fridge caught my eye. It was of him and a blonde woman. His girlfriend.
My heart hurt.
Andy you stupid fuck! He's got a girlfriend! Stupid, fucking-!
"Her name's Kina." He said softly.
"How long, um..."
"Three years." He said (in monotone!)
"Oh..."
"Let's get you home."

Ash pulled up to my apartment block. "Here we are. Are you okay to walk up on your own?"
"Yeah, it's only on the second floor. The druggies hang out on the third floor."
Nice going, Andrew!
"Druggies?! I'm going with you."
"Ash, you don't have-"
"If anything happens to you, I couldn't live with myself knowing I could've ensured your safety! I care about you!"
A deafening silence descended. He cares about me? Maybe-
"C'mon." He said softly, getting out of the car.
We walked to the lift in silence. I pressed the button and we moved upwards. I felt claustrophobic. It was just me and Ash. Just me and the man, the very straight man, I was falling for. It's not even been a day and all I wanna do is kiss him. Just one kiss.
One.
The lift opened and I walked out, Ash behind me. We stood in front of the apartment door.
"This is me."
(Demi Lovato anyone?)
I smiled at Ash. "Thanks."
"You're welcome." His arms wrapped around me and I snuggled into his embrace.
I couldn't help myself. I pressed my lips to his in a soft kiss. I went to pull away when he kissed back, shoving me into the wall, moaning in my mouth. I felt his erection and bucked my hips so he could feel my growing hardness.
Suddenly he pulled away. He didn't even look at me. He just walked off.
I felt the tears well up in my eyes as I choked back a sob. How could he just walk away?
I shakily opened my apartment door, slamming it shut and breaking down.
"Andy?" Jayy ran over to me. "Sweetie, what happened?"
"J-Jayy...."
"Hey, shh."
Jayy picked me up and carried me into the living room, setting me on his lap.
"Andy?"
"Jinxxy?"
"What happened?"
"Jayy-Jayy! J-Jinxxy..."
Jayy's and Jinxx's arms wrapped around me.
"I f-fucked up..."
