The Music Saved My Life...

Kayla's POV
I woke up and checked my phone to see what time it was. It was 10:30 and I had to get up. I got dressed in high waist black ripped shorts, a white BVB tank top, a pair of black converse, and my jewelry, black snake bites, batman gauges, black nose ring, silver eyebrow piercing, and a BVB bracelet. I went into the bathroom and did my makeup. I went down stairs and Steven was sitting on the couch.
"What the fuck do you want?" I asked him.
"I want to break up with you." He said. I started jumping up and down.
"Hallelujah!!!" I yelled. He slapped me 3 times. I just took the beating because after this I knew I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore.
"Why don't you ever fight back? You stupid little cunt whore." He pushed me on the ground and kicked me in the stomach twice and in the face once, then took out a pocket knife and stabbed me in the side. I texted Andy.
me: Hey I need you to come to my house now
andy: why whats wrong
me: doesn't matter I need help now
andy: k whats the address
I texted him the address and he got here in 5 minutes. He opened the door and ran inside.
"Andy!!!" I yelled. He rushed over to me. I was laying on the ground holding my side with blood all over my hand
"Kayla! Oh my god what happened??" He asked. I shook my head and started crying. he hugged me to him and I put my head in the crook of his neck.
"Shh. It's okay. You're okay." He said. We sat there for ten more minutes before we got up. He carried me to the bathroom and set me on the counter. He cleaned me up and we went to watch batman. He sat on the couch and patted the spot next to him. I sat down and cuddled into his side. He put his arm around me and we fell asleep. I woke up an hour later. Andy was still asleep so I decided to wake him up. I kissed his nose a couple of times but he didn't wake up. He just smiled in his sleep. I finally shook him awake because kissing him didn't work.
"Hey sleepy head. Get your ass up," I said and he smiled at me. He leaned in and kissed me and I kissed him back.
"Kayla?"
"Yes Andy?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Did he really just ask that???
"Yes," I whispered.
"Is something wrong?" I nodded.
"It's just my last 3 boyfriends only liked me for my looks and then they hit me," I whispered again.
"Kayla, I'm so sorry to hear that. What did you do about it?" He asked. I took a deep breath and showed him my wrists. His face saddend.
"Why? Why would you do that to yourself. You are perfect and you need to know that." he said. I shrugged and looked at his eyes.
"When was the last time?"
"Last night," I said looking down. He started singing.

I had tears in my eyes when he was done. I tackled him and hugged him no matter how much it hurt my side.
