I Love You More Than I Could Ever Scream

"So what do you say? Will you come with me on Warped Tour?" Andy asked me, as the waitress left after taking our orders. Andy had ordered a cheese burger with fries and a milkshake. I had simply ordered a water and a plain hamburger, not wanting to waist Andy's money on me.
"I don't know Andy...I--" I started but was cut off by Andy's phone ringing. He looked at the caller i.d then glanced at me apologetically, standing up and walking away.
He muttered a "Hello?" as he walked towards the door leading outside. I sighed looking down at the table and twisting a strand of my hair around my finger, anxiously. Should I go with him? Any other girl would be ecstatic and take him up on his offer instantly. But I...I just don't want to get my hopes up only for them to be crushed. I didn't want to be hurt again. But then again, Andy is so sweet...I can't see him doing anything to hurt me-- My thoughts were interrupted by Andy coming back, sitting down in front of me again. He smiled.
"Sorry, that was the band. I told them about you...and they want to meet you. They said they want us to meet them at the park in an hour..." He told me, looking up at me hesitantly. I smiled.
"That would be nice," I said simply, giving him a small smile. Maybe he won't hurt me...
"Great." He smirked, "Want to play twenty questions?" I laughed, nodding.
"You first," I replied, smiling.
He thought for a moment then asked the first question, "What's your full name?"
"Kennali Skye Roshia. What's your favorite hobby outside of music?"
"Probably drawing. I also like to write, mostly just song lyrics though.?? Do you have a job?" He replied, smiling at me.
"Yes, I work at a bakery not to far from my apartment. Favorite movie?"
"Any batman movie, really. Favorite food?"


We talked for a while, getting to know each other while we ate. Before I knew it, it was time to go meet the guys.
We were walking towards the only park in town when Andy randomly said, "You know, I never asked about your family..." He trailed off, looking at me from under his eyelashes.
I faked a smile and asked, "Well...what do you want to know?"
"Why haven't you mentioned them? Where are they? Do you have any siblings?" He asked me, grabbing my hand.
I sighed, "Well...my mom left me when I was little due to my brother's death. My dad became an alcoholic after she left. He's probably still in Betheville, my hometown. I don't know for sure though. My brother was seventeen when he died. I was twelve. H-He was in a c-c-car crash..." I started to cry, not used to talking about my past. I was suddenly pulled into his embrace. He hugged me tightly as I cried, rubbing soothing circles on my back. He whispered sweet words into my ear, calming me enough for me to stop crying after a couple minutes.
"Sorry," I muttered, wiping away my tears. He let go of me, stepping back a little to give me space.
"It's okay. Don't be sorry for crying. I'm sorry for bringing it up...I...I didn't know..." He trailed of, looking guilty.
"It's okay. Just a..a touchy subject..." I told him, smiling slightly up at him.
We arrived to the park, instantly spotting the four other men in black. Ashley was on CC's back. Jake and Jinxx were on their phones. CC noticed us walking towards them first, yelling, "Aaaandyyyy" Andy laughed as we stopped, standing in front of them. Ashley looked me up and down, smirking.
"Who is this beautiful lady?" I blushed, glancing at Andy and noticing a angry look on his face. What the fuck? Was he...jealous? He couldn't be...
"Kenna," I mumbled, waving slightly.
"I'm Ashley," He told me, his smirk becoming a friendly smile.
"I know..." I told him. Dammit, I probably sound so weird and fangirly. He smirked again, laughing. I noticed CC smiling at me. "You don't have to be nervous, you know? We don't bite. Well except Ashley," He said, energetically. He reminded me of Julie, he was so happy and bubbly. I laughed slightly as Ashley rolled his eyes. Thinking of Jullie reminded me that I needed to call her, she was probably wondering where I was and why I didn't come to work today...I noticed that Jake had an acoustic guitar in his hand and his guitar case beside him on the ground. I looked up at him, confused.
"We were going to play a little...if that's okay with you?" He told me pointing to two other guitar cases that undoubtedly had Ashley's bass and Jinxx's guitar in them. I nodded enthusiastically. What? It wasn't every day you got to watch your favorite band play, not even ten feet in front of you. He smiled, "What songs would you like us to play?"
I grinned, not hesitating as I said, "Savior and Carolyn."
I looked up at Andy as I sat down on the bench Jake was sitting on, smiling widely. Jinxx and Ashley sat on the bench opposite us while Andy sat down on the grass. The boys started to strum their guitars as Andy glanced at me, a smile gracing his perfect lips. Then he started to sing.

As the boys finished I smiled. This moment may not be perfect, but it was pretty damn close. I looked down at Andy, seeing his electric blue eyes staring back at me. He smiled, realizing what I was thinking.
"So, will you go on Warped Tour with us?"
I nodded, simply saying, "Yes."
