I was still smiling jovially when I saw Penemue’s expression turn sour as old vinegar, though he didn’t look truly alarmed, and I smelled incubus. Crow and Femme took off like bullets, blocking the way to the hall to Andy’s bedroom, surrounded by bright green coronas, the white on their chests shining so brightly it was near-blinding. Following them with my eyes, I saw- Sebastian? “What-“ I stood up.


Penemue cut me off, standing to face Sebastian, who came slowly towards us, giving me a brief nod and a smile. “Sebastian. It seems you have chosen now to take an interest in the welfare of your grandson-“ His…grandson?

Note: this is fan fiction!!! Andy's real-life paternal grandfather is a gentleman by the name of Dennis Biersack (the source of Andy's middle name). As of the writing of this chapter, his paternal grandfather is still very much among the living. He is also a big baseball fan.
