Succubus

Planting the seed, Crow and Femme (edited)

*Oona's POV*

I had waited a long time for things to be perfect. Andy’s lover was away, she would be gone for over a month. His friends were busy. He was lonely. He didn’t have a lot he was working on right now, not yet. Poor Andy was bored, and he didn’t deal well with boredom.
I was ready to help him. So ready. I was starving.

However, I decided to be cautious, eager though I was, and start small. I waited until I sensed he was in the deepest phase of sleep, then ghosted into his bedroom.

Both cats sat up and watched me intently. They knew what I was, what I wanted, and that they would be unable to stop me. That was the difference between cats and dogs. Dogs would still often try. It caused problems on occasion.

I admired Andy from a few feet away. He was snoring quietly, covered below his ribs by his sheets. He had such wide, strong shoulders. He was on his right side, his black hair falling over his face, a centimeter of lighter roots just showing. He had a tiny little hole where he used to wear a ring in his lip. I liked him either way. Humans were so fickle!

I approached him carefully. I heard the smaller cat, the castrated boy, clear its throat. Unexpected.
I waved my hand at Andy, ensuring a deep slumber, then turned to the male, tuxedo cat. “Yes, little one?” It held my gaze without flinching. It was brave for its kind.

“No harm will come to him?” Brave, little thing! It looked concerned for its master. I took pity on it.

“None.” Assuming we were finished, I turned back to Andy.

“Swear it.” I turned back to the cat, a little shocked. It was still unafraid.
I could not help but admire it, it had the heart of a lion.“What is your name, little lion?” He narrowed his eyes. The chubby, girl cat, I saw, had hunkered down in fear.

“Crow. Swear you will do him no harm, or wish you had.” Though I was, at that point, mildly irritated, there was something different about Crow. Cats never engaged me in conversation, much less became hostile. Perhaps little Crow was more than he seemed. And perhaps his threat might not be empty. No harm in playing nice.

“Well, Crow, I swear that I intend to seduce Andy with magic and to engage in many mutually pleasurable sexual encounters with him. I do not intend to do him any harm. Acceptable?” I wasn’t even lying. It was all completely true, it was how I recharged as well as one of the major ways I enjoyed myself.

He looked at me, considering. “You are a succubus. Do you plan to take his seed to make progeny?” Crow was no ordinary cat to know what he did. That complicated things.Strange, I hadn’t noticed it before…

“Tell me what you are, and I will answer you truthfully.” I wanted to know what I was dealing with.

Again, he squinted. “Very well. I am a cat of the Kellas, a cat sith. Or sidhe, if you prefer.” He grinned a toothy grin at the surprised expression I failed to hide- we were on entirely the wrong continent, and I knew little about his kind. “I am a hybrid, a descendant of emmigrants from the native land. But that is neither here, nor there. You may think of me simply as Andy’s cat. Now, your turn.” He groomed himself a bit but never stopped watching me. Despite myself, I was fond of this little fellow. He was gutsy!

“No, Crow. I do not make progeny. I have no desire to raise a squalling infant. Though I do, indeed, plan to harvest his seed in the temporary sense.” He looked disgusted, but not surprised, with me. “I am not fertile unless I invoke conception rites,” and I smirked, “which shall never occur. I am also not capable of spreading human disease. After I have finished with him, he will believe I was a dream. Are you satisfied?”

Crow padded softly up to me, until he was right in front of me. “I do not know if I could stop you. I would almost certainly die. Ultimately, it seems that you may not cause lasting harm. So I will relent, conditionally. Firstly, tell me your name.” He stared me dead in the eye. The girl cat continued to watch our exchange from her hunched position, unmoving. Perhaps she was less fearful than I thought?

“Oona.” Again, true. Maybe foolish to share my name with a cat just for defending its master, but I admired it. And this was not an ordinary cat. This was a descendant of Welsh fae. And, perhaps, if I could gain its affections or trust, it would make a powerful ally...

“Oona… Secondly, know that if harm comes to Andy, I will come for you.” He blinked and nodded. “In the meantime, have fun.” He turned and looked at the female cat, “Femme, come on, let’s get out of here. Whenever Oona is here in the future, trust me, we’ll want to be in another room. Ugh.” And with that, they both turned and slipped, two black shadows, out the bedroom door. I couldn't help but notice that the white in the center of their chests flared brightly as they slinked through some of the vapors that held Andy in his deep slumber.

Notes

well shucks, i just sort of came up with this little thing on accident. The Story of a Lonesome ol'Jerome is the main story I work on, and takes up most of my time. I just came up with this idea, cause, y'know, sometimes things just come out. You know how it goes. ;)

(note- a very minor edit of one sentence on 12/20/15.)
