The truth be told, i didn't want to be here. Just by the look of Andrew's face when i left... i wanted to be with him, here, tonight. I sighed and grabbed Oliver's hand, leading him to the dance floor. "You look amazing by the way." He said softly, twirling me around. "I am a lucky guy."

I blushed and lowered my head, resting it on his shoulder. Oliver is an amazing guy, i would be lucky to have someone like this, but i have someone, i have sir. I wanted sir. I was deeply in love with my English teacher, so.. so much in love. I wonder what will happen if my father will find out about this? Will he approve? I think not. Me and Oliver danced for a few minutes before Mandy grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the punch bowl. "What's the matter with you Coma, homecoming hello!" I sighed, shaking my head and taking a sip of my punch.

"I think i am in love with Andy." I whispered to her with a sadden expression. "Oh who am i kidding i am in love with him." I sighed.

Mandy shook her head and placed her hands on her waist. "Lemme tell you something," she snapped. "When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. . . . Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every part of your body. . . . For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over, when being in love has burned away.” I arched my brow with confusion. What was she talking about. "Get it?" I nodded slowly, not really understanding. "So for once, let get out there and party our asses off, " She slapped my arm and ran off into the crowd.
