New Beginnings

I can't fucking believe it, my parents are making us move again! And whats worse is that its going to be out of state! After living in Colorado my whole life we're moving to no other than, Hollywood, LA! Why LA? What the fuck is wrong with Colorado?
These thoughts race through my mind as i walk down the streets of my current little neighborhood. What I find stupid is that my parents have always complained about living in the city and how many people there are and how noisy it is. And now we're moving to the one of the biggest cities.
I light my cigarette and sit at one of the benches in the park. We have a month to move. A month! A whole god damn month to pack up a two story house and all of the shit in the basement.
My thoughts were interrupted just then when I hear my name being called. I don't reply thinking that its my mom and/or dad. Thankfully it was only my best friends Jess and Ben. Ben was seventeen, he was tall, had messy brown hair and deep blue eyes. Jess was also seventeen with short cropped blonde hair and light blue eyes. They were twins but you'd never geuss it by just looking at them.They sat on either side of me and when Ben noticed something was wrong he asked, "what's wrong?"

"My parents are making us move to LA," I exclaim, finally bursting into tears, "we only have a month to get out of the house."


"Why?" Jess asked, obvisouly livid.

"I dont know, maybe theyre just looking for a fucking change in scenery," i blurt out as my tears turn to rage.

We had just moved here a year ago and finally found a place where I fit in and now I'll have to start all over. Right now we are all on summer breack and it was all fun in games until this roadblock came onto our path.
"Well Missy, you aren't leaving me as long as I can help it," Ben saidcalling me by my pet name that only he could use, while pulling my head into his chest. I've always known from the second that I met him that he had a crush on me. A month later Jess confirmed my suspicions. I usually push him away playfully but this times different and I except it and put my arms around his neck.

"I dont have a choice, i have to leave," i mumble into his shirt. He sighs and we all just sit there in silence for who knows how long. When it started to get dark i got up and said goodbye know that my mom and dad would probably be wottired out their minds. When i got home i went straight upstairs, took a shower and went striaght to bed without eating, i was so upset i had lost my a appetite. I put on All Time Low in the background and soon fell asleep know I had a long month of toil ahead of me.
