Chapter 2

I walked into the English classroom with my book in my hands. I noticed I was the first one in here.
"Morning Aria" Mr. Biersack looked up from his papers and gave me a gorgeous smile.

I blushed and walked over to my desk. I looked at the wall behind him, but every now and then my gaze would drift to him. He looked up one time and smiled softly.

The class came in and he stood up. He grabbed the book and perched at the edge of his desk.
"Alright seeing as you all hate reading, I'm going to read the book to you" the class cheered and he chuckled softly.

"I'm going to read a part of the book, then we will decide what it is about. Tomorrow we will start from the beginning" Everyone pulled put their books and looked at him.

He wetted his lips and opened the book. "Before i got here, i thought for a long time that the way out of the labyrinth was to pretend that it did not exist, to build a small, self-sufficient world in a back corner of the endless maze and to pretend that i was not lost, but at home. But that only led to a lonely life accompanied only by the last words of the already-dead, so i came here looking for a Great Perhaps, for real friends and a more-than-minor life. And then i screwed up and the Colonel screwed up and Takumi screwed up and she slipped through our fingers. And there's no sugar-coating it: She needed better friends."

He stopped and looked up to make sure we were paying attention. He looked at me smiled and looked back at the book.

"When she fucked up, all those years ago, just a little girl terrified into paralysis, she collapsed into the enigma of her-self. And i could have done that, but i saw where it led for her. So i still believe in the Great Perhaps, and i can believe in it in spite of having lost her"

I stopped paying attention. His voice was so smooth and deep. I loved how he got lost in the story. His eyes transporting somewhere else as he read.

I was most definitely in love with him..
