Teachers pet

I decided not to go to school today. There's a dance tonight and I would rather not spend the day telling people to stop asking who I'm taking. I also don't want to go to school, because i will just get a million questions of why i did that to Becca.

I got up and walked downstairs. I sat down on the sofa and wrapped a blanket around me. I didn't bother even trying to make myself look nice. I have to do that for tonight anyway. I grabbed the remote and watched supernatural on netflix.

A few hours later there was a knock on the front door. I sighed and paused the tv. I kept the blanket around me and shuffled to the door. I opened it and Andy was standing there with a cigarette between his lips.

"Leave Andy"
"Wait Aria, i have to tell you something"
"No Andy, you shouldn't be here"
"Aria, i'm not.." I closed the door and sat against it. I brought my knees to my face and curled up. I started crying.

I think i fell asleep like that, because i woke up to someone trying to open the door.
"Aria honey, is the door locked" I moved away from the door and it swung open. My mom looked down and sighed.
"What happened?"
"Nothing, just boy trouble, I'm fine"
"Guess what i got?"
"What?" She pulled out a black dress that cut off past the knees.
"My dress! Thank you"
"Uh huh, go get ready"

I grabbed the dress and ran upstairs. I pulled my sweatpants and baggy hoodie off and pulled the dress on. It fit perfectly. It was tight around my body, but that's how it's meant to be. I walked over to the mirror and spun around. I sat down and grabbed my makeup.

Once i was done, i straightened my hair and put my bangs over one eye. I grabbed the black wedges by my dresser and pulled them on. My mom walked in and smiled.
"You look absolutely beautiful"
"You have to say that, you're my mom"
"I'm telling the truth" I laughed and grabbed my bag. I kissed my mom on the cheek.
"I'll be back before midnight"
"Yeah don't want you to turn into a pumpkin" She laughed and stepped out of my way.

I arrived at the dance and walked over to the drinks. I grabbed some water and leant against the wall. I saw Andy walking towards me.
"Aria, can i have this dance?"
"Andy you know i can't, just leave" I tried walking away, but he grabbed my wrist. He pulled me to his chest and smiled.
"You didn't let me tell you yesterday"
"Tell me what?"

He lifted my head up and kissed me. I gasped and pulled back.
"Are you crazy?"
"Aria, I'm not a teacher"
"What?"
"I quit, I meant what i said i love you and nothing is going to change that"
"Oh my god Andy! I love you too" I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.
"Now can i have this dance?" I laughed and took his hand.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and i rested my head on his chest. He chuckled.
"People are staring"
"It doesn't matter anymore"
"You look beautiful tonight"
"Andy, you know we have to tell my mom"
"Shit, i forgot about that"
"We'll do it tonight ok" He nodded and started swaying softly.
