Homecoming!

Homecoming Week! The most competitive week in high school. This year's theme... Superheros! Seniors come together all week and kill it. We win the dress-up days. We win the penny wars. We win the float for the 3rd-4th year in a row! We got cheated out of first in the A.A.G.G. but we get second. We come together as a class and we enjoy the last year we have.
Friday night! Lights on the field, the boys warm up, the girls stretch, and the band makes their way to the field while the rest of us wait for the game to begin.
Kathy and I walk around saying hi to people we know and causing legal havoc...

Half-time. Time to announce the homecoming queen. I don't even bat an eye, I already know who will get it... the popular cheer leader of course. But wait! She didn't win? The one who nobody expected to won. What!?!? Then start the fireworks. Kathy and I watch as the time on the clock ticks down and half time is almost over...

The game ends. We don't win, nothing new, but who cares. Every senior in a football uniform, in a cheer uniform, band outfit, and just walking the crowd takes one last look at the field as we leave... Never again will we celebrate a homecoming game as a student.

Uh oh! Time to T-pee! Better watch out underclassmen, class of 2014 coming for you!

T-peeing long over. It's Saturday morning, time to get ready for my last homecoming dance, to bad my parents won't be part of that because they decided to yell and shout, so I got ready at Kathy's. The night was amazing with Kathy and Jason, even though Jason refused to dance. Dinner after was so fun, then staying the night as Kathy's. If this week is any indication of the rest of my senior year I'm ready for it...

Oh how wrong was I
