Amazing Weekend
October. One of the best months of the year. Fall is upon us, all the spooky scary things to do, all the candy lining the shelves in stores. Best weekend was the 25-27th of October.
The 25th. Gustavo, Kathy, Jenelle, her boyfriend and I head to Reaper's Realm. My first time ever being there and I'm glad it's with them. It's filled with screams of joy and fear. But the night doesn't end there. We decided to go to Gypsies Graveyard. Again, I have never been here so I'm scared. I don't like to mess with the paranormal, and this place is supposed to be haunted. We get out of the car, and walk up the stairs, they want to walk to the back to the angel statue, but I refuse to move. A car is coming, so we duck down so not to be seen, but when we got up... we were spotted by something worse. Everyone looks to the left, then they say...
"we need to go...now!"
I freak out because I know they can see things, so I run to the stairs, and quickly walk down them backward. I run to the car and get in. We drive home, and something doesn't feel right. We get to my house and realize, we picked up a discarded shoe that wasn't our. We made sure to get rid of that.
The 26th. Best day of my life up to this point! I get to go to my first ever Black Veil Brides concert and I get to take Gustavo with me. I spend all day getting ready, my look has to be perfect! I end up in a BVB t-shirt, ripped jeans, and my face the way Andy used to do his.
Waiting in line was torture, then getting inside, I felt like I was going to explode! We ended up going to the floor in front of the stage. Drama Club came on, I actually liked them, I didn't expect too. Then Set it Off, I wasn't impressed. Finally a band I know... Falling in Reverse! Their set was amazing, and I know Gus enjoyed it because he sweated off all his "paint" and he was exhausted. The wait is torturous.... then the lights dim. Screams fill the room. CC climbs onto the drums, then I see shadows run onto the stage. The house lights explode on and Andy runs out, and I don't think I have ever screamed that loud! The start with a song from their new album, I haven't heard it yet, but catch onto the chorus pretty quick and soon enough everyone sings along. The concert goes on, and I'm enjoying myself, but I miss the last 20 minutes because Gus faints... I make him feel like shit for that for the rest of the night and next few months.
The 27th. Six Flags Fright Fest with Gus and Kathy. I tell her all about the concert, not leaving out a single detail, and we spend the day on roller coasters enjoying the thrills. Amazing day with the two people that mean so much to me.
