I'm a Loaded Gun

I woke in the morning to light pouring in the windows of the bus. I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed them with my finger tips. I heard a knocking at the door. "Come in" I called. The door swung open to show Andy. "Oh hey." I suddenly yawned. "What's up?" I stretched my arms and yawned again.

"Someone's sleepy." he mused.

"Just a bit, it took forever to get to sleep last night. We only have four bunks so I decided to crash here. Not exactly the epitome of comfort but what the heck. It's a tour bus."

"I came over to see if you guys wanted to get some lunch with us. There's a catering thing here for all the bands and you have to get there early for food."

"Lunch? What fucking time is it?"

"It's about eleven. I'm usually not up this early but I can never sleep the night before a first festival performance."

"Food sounds good. Give me ten minutes to be alive again."

"Haha fine. Just come over to our bus." he said as he closed the door.

I got up and stretched, and then walked over to the bunk area. "Wake up guys if you want food." Tyler and Dylan instantly shot out of bed. Typical boys. I didn't dare wake Allie or Blake, knowing I could open the curtain to something even bleach wouldn't be able to clean from my mind. I shook Siren, but she didn't wake. I leaned in to her ear and said "Ashleys waiting for you." Her eyes instantly opened. She looked around confused. "The guys invited us to lunch." She zombie walked to the bathroom with me and we changed and got ready. I threw on some black canvas shorts, my converse, and a yellow shirt with guitars on it I had slit cut the shoulders off. I grabbed my black sunglasses and decided to go light with the make up until the show early in the evening. I put in my mascara and eyeliner and put the glasses on. Siren was still fumbling around the bathroom when I got off the bus.

Tyler and Dylan had literally gotten straight out of bed and walked over to the BVB bus, both in basketball shorts and the shirts they had on to sleep in last night. The guys of BVB looked about the same except they had bothered to fix their hair. Andy had on a pair of black skinny jeans and a ripped open Alice Cooper shirt, exposing his sides. He didn't have on any makeup and his hair was neatly styled. Ashley had on sunglasses too. "Where's Siren?"

"She just rolled out of bed. She's not a morning person." I replied.

We all began to walk to the catering tent when Siren came running up from our bus. "Sorry, I couldn't find my shoes."

Once at the tent we instantly lost Jake, CC, Tyler, and Dylan. If I didn't know better I'd say they were quadruplets because they all had pretty much the same thoughts. I picked through the line and decided just to grab a PBJ, bottle of sweet tea, and some salt and vinegar chips. I sat down next to Siren. She had gotten a turkey sandwich and Doritos, I should have known. Her fav foods. "So where's Seth?" she asked.

"No idea, crashed somewhere with a hangover?"

"He what?"

"He found me last night in the tent, he was completely shit faced, when I was trying to talk to Andy."

"What about my beautiful face?" Andy asked as he sat down next to me.

"I was telling Siren about Seth last night..." I said.

"I'm pretty sure I saw him I passed out in a Hyundai this morning. It's silver. Sound familiar?" he replied.

"Yeah that's his car."

"I don't understand how you put up with that bullshit. I'd be giving him a swift kick in the ass." Sammi said as she sat across from me, "Maybe you need to tell him that you are concerned. He needs to know its not OK Reya."

"I know Sammi. He and I need to have a serious talk before the show tonight."

"Good luck." Andy replied dryly.

After lunch I searched around for Seth, finally finding him waiting in the bus. "Seth, I've been looking all over for you."

"I could say the same for you." he said. His face was hard, unreadable.

"Babe, we need to talk."

"Yeah."

"Seth, there's something you need to understand. I have physical boundary lines, and...and you keep crossing them."

"What do you mean?"

"Seth, you were so rude yesterday. I was trying to be professional when I was meeting my musical IDOLS and you wouldn't keep yourself off me. It was so rude. I love you, but you need to understand that that isn't ok in public, it's just rude and trashy. I don't want them thinking that I'm open like that, because it really bothers me. I'm not OK with it. We need to take a step back, slow things down. Please, it's just uncomfortable for me Seth."

"I'm sorry. I'll behave. I just didn't want any of those freaks thinking they had a chance with you."

"Seth, I'm not going to do anything just because they are famous. I'm you're girlfriend."

"Damn right you are," he stood up and walked over to me. He stood close and lifted my chin. He leaned down and kissed me. Much gentler this time, much easier this time. I wrapped my arms around his neck and felt his hands rest on the tops of my hips. His thumbs rubbed lightly over the bone and I let the kiss continue, our lips moving in perfect sync. I pulled back and smiled at him.

"I need to start getting ready, I have a set to kill." I said, placing another light kiss on his lips. I stepped back and walked down the hall to the bathroom to ready myself for my first real performance.
