The Ugly Duckling
Nerd Glasses Broken Out Comes the Beauty
Making our way out of the gym and searching around for Ashley.
" Hey JInxxxxxxxx" I'm hit to the ground with a thump but as I lay on face that hurts like a bitch, a sweet voice calls out to me.
" Oh goodness!" turning my aching head to the side to see the same girl that just
performed but instead of staying in her costume like all the other girls, she was back in her baggy jeans and loose purple sweater with her long midnight hair in a messy bun on the bottom of her neck, " I'm so So sorry I wasn't looking where I was going, well truthfully I was looking at my feet so I won't trip but that's not the point, oh gosh sorry I'm rattling, here let me help you up."
Grabbing the delicate hand that was graced upon my beaten face, I got up and brushed the imaginary dirt from my black leather pants so that this girl couldn't see the embarrassment that brushed my cheeks like a painters brush to a canvas.
Finally looking up to meet the waiting girl, " Its all right it's not the first time my face has hit the ground," a shy giggle came from her mouth as it twitched up into a smile. Fixing her glasses to try to hid the shyness," ummm yeah, but I never introduced myself," nervously reaching her hand out to the me, " but I'm Mary nice to meet you." Giggling softly to herself.
"HI! Im CC !Oh MY God !! HUG ME YOU ARE SO CUTE! LIKE A LITTLE BUNNY!!" CC came running up to her, picking her up like she weighted the weight of a down feather in a pillow.
Her giggle grew a tab bit louder and red face became brighter, " ummm Mr. CC came you please put me down I can't breathe."
" Oh yeah sorry!" CC placed her down as gently as you would a newborn, truthfully I think, he thought was going to break her, " But hi, I'm CC." Jinx came forward,
" Hello, I'm Jinxx," " And I'm Jake." She shook each of their hands, turning back to me, " and you are?" her voice became quiet as if she was nervous to ask.
" I'm Andy, it's nice to meet you." Smiling at her.
" AnnnnnnnDYY! Have you seen-" Ashley's voice called.
" MARRRRRRRRYYYY!!!" Mary turned her head to the call of the voice.
" ASHYYYYYYYYY" running to the waiting arms of Ash. It seemed as soon as she was in his arms, they were spinning with her arms around his neck and his arms around her waist they hugged each other so hard it looked like gravity didn't hold them here anymore but them, themselves.
" Ash," they stop spinning, Mary's head is buried into Ash's neck hiding her face from view all you could is her quiet sweet voice whispering, " they hurt me again and I don't know if I can live anymore....................
