" can u take her to those they'll be her last ones since she's leaving"

I hugged my parents and followed him into the black suburban
" nervous?" He asked giving me a side stare as he drove off. I stared out the window I felt my body starting to shake.

" so you play the drums?"
" year 10 years, I'm section leader and drum line leader"
" wow impressive " he said just as we pulled to a drive way of a house I've seen a million times because its right off the street from the school meaning I could walk to the school and be to school in 5 minutes.
He stopped the car and turned to me.

" come on it'll be fine they'll love you" he said chuckling and getting out of the car. I grabbed my bag and stepped out

We walked into the big house and he led me to the living room where the guys were . I froze . I was nervous I was meeting and staying with my favorite band!

" guys this is Jess, Jess I assume you know their names" he said siting on the couch that noone was on
I nodded and sat next to him playin with he sleeves of my hoodie . I could help but stare at CC he always was the crush I'd never have.
" a fan ?" Andy asked chuckling
" yeah dude you should have seen her room full of posters of us" jake said laughing
I smacked his shoulder
" thanks now they think I'm a creeper" I said
The rest of the guys were laughing
" nah it's cool your a fan, that means you have good taste in music" jinxx joked
" oh Jess what times your drum lessons ?" Jake asked turning to me
"8:30 at the high school" I said shyly as CC was starring at me
" you play drums?!" He shouted
" yeah for ten years I'm our marching band drumlins leader" I said smiling

" okay how about I go get food and you guys show her the room she's staying in for now, and don't freak her out" jake said walking out the door and Instantly I felt awkward and shy
I fumbled with my sleeves
" so tell us about yourself" CC asked
" not much to tell, I'm 17 turning 18 in April, I draw, play drums and guitar and bands are pretty much my life" I said
" what's your favorite color?" Andy asked

They laughed.
" I'm being serious I sleep so much"
They laughed again
" lets go ill show you your room" andy said walking to the stairs CC followed behind us.
They led me to a room at the end of the hall. "Jakes room is across from you and I'm next to you." Andy said as he opened up the room . It was medium size with a full Bed, dresser and closet . The walls were red like most of the house was.
" we'll leave you to unpack and shit, well be downstairs if you need us" CC said as they walked away I put a few things away like cloths but didn't settle everything exahse we'd only be ere for a few weeks. Just as I finished my phone rang.
" hello?"
"Jess!"
I smiled realizing it was my only friend Johnny who taught me drums
" Johnny boy!"
" how are you little grasshopper"
" great youll never guess what happened"
I spent the next half hour explaining everything when a knock came on the door
" come in!" I shouted and told Johnny I had to go.
" I made burgers if your hungry then ill get you to drum lessons since its 8" jake said
"Wow already 8? Time flys "I grabbed my favorite pair of drumsticks that were pretty used but still worked great. I walked down and saw the guys eating at the counter I smiled and began to eat making little conversation.
" so Jess hows school do you like it?" Ashley said and my hear stopped. I wasn't ready to let them know about everything
" not really" I said hoping they'd move to another topic. They didn't
"How come" jinxx asked now they all had eyes on me . Fuck my life Fuck.
" The kids don't really like me that much" I said and Andy was about to say something when I saw the time
" jake it's 8:25 we need to go"
" okay how long is it?" He asked standing up
" it's 30 minutes "
" ill just hang up at the football field or somethig anybody care to join?" He asked getting a jacket
" ill go" CC said following him
" same" Ashley and Andy said
" I'm going to stay and call Sammi " jinxx said patting my head then going to the stairs.
I grabbed my sticks just as someone through me over their shoulder and started running I tried to squirm but the grip got tighter
" not so fast " Ashley said running to the car with me laughing
" I swear to god if you drop my sister ill cut off your man hood purdy" jake yelled .
Ashley laughed and put me in the back and went to get in the passenger seat. I quickly locked the doors and crawled into the passenger side and stuck my tongue out unlocking the doors ,jake got in the drivers side n the rest in the back.
" ill get you " Ashley smirked at me as the rest laughed
" dude I like her were keeping her"
CC said and laughed as we drove off
I told jake to pull to the side of the school where the band room was and football feild was right there. I got out and my lesson teacher was standing outside the doors holding it open because they locked.
" hey Jess who are they?" He aske eyeing the boys.
" this is jake my brother , and his friends Andy CC and Ashley" they shook hands and we went in the building .
I watched as they ran around the feild like idiots. I paid attetion to my lesson and felt my worries fly away because playing and listeng to music always calmed me.
I came out and saw they were goig to the car.
I ran to the front and I got in earning a glare from Ashley
" ill get you baby Pitts" he said getting in the back
" don't touch my sister man" jake said laughing getting in
When we got home they told me we were having a movie night so I went to change. I put on a batman shirt and put my batman hoodie back on even though it was supper hot out I couldn't let them see the cuts. I put on basketball shorts and went down stairs to see the guys sitting already . I sat on the couch between CC and jake , jinxx was on the recliner and Andy and Ashley were on the other couch. Andy put batman on and I leaned against jake with my feet on CC
" hey Jess don't you want to take your hoodie off it's hot in here" jake said as the movie started causing the guys to look at me
" no I'm fine " I said quickly cuddling into his side .
