I woke up at 6:30 the next morning still on the couch on jinxx's lap. I looked around and saw Sammi on the other side of jinxx. Andy and Juliet were on the other couch and cc was next to me with his arm around me.

I got up slowly an started to walk out trying not to wake them up when I tripped over the coffee table. I landed on the wall and it made a loud bang.

I groaned and rubbed my head.

" fuck" I said

Andy and jinxx jumped up and looked at me then started laughing. Juliet rubbed her eyes and chuckled as did Sammi. Cc got up and picked me.

" clutz" Andy said and I smacked him.

" sorry for waking you"

" it's fine, you okay?" Sammi asked and I nodded.

" yeah" I walked out of the room and up the stairs I heard foot steps following me. I walked into my room and Sammi and Juliet sat on my bed.

" can I help you?" I asked and they laughed.

" nah were good" they said. I shook my head laughing.

I went to my closet.

" nervous?" Sammi asked and I nodded.

" I just don't want it to be like last time" I said and she looked at me.

" I know ,"

" wait what happened?" Juliet asked. Me and Sammi starred at her.

" Andy didn't tell you?"

" no just told me that your sister died " she said and I shook my head.

" idiot" I muttered and sighed.

" Sammi can you fill her in while I get dressed?" I asked. She nodded. I walked out of the room with my cloths and into the bathroom.

I put on red skinny jeans and a suicide silence T-shirt. I brushed my hair and put my lip ring in. I walked out and into the room. Juliet jumped up and hugged me almost knocking me over.

" I'm so so sorry, your so strong I didn't know you went through all that" she said into my neck.

" it's okay Juliet, thank you" I said and she pulled away.

", anybody hurts you, call me ill kick some ass" she said and I laughed putting my cloths away. I went to the dresser and put on a few bracelets on each wrist.

" thanks you Juliet but its fine" I said and she chuckled.

" don't tell the guys but if you ever want to, text me and I'll dismiss you" she said and I laughed.

" make sure I'm in on this too!" Sammi said . I laughed again as I put on a line of eye liner.

" I'll hold you to that" I said.

I picked up my bag and walked out. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen everyone was sitting down.

" hey" they all shouted I smiled. Cc got up and took my hand and lead me out. He brought me to the living room.

" what are you doing "

" I never gave you your present" he said.

" cc you did , it was you" I said and he laughed. He took out a small box and handed it to me. I opened it and saw a beautiful silver plain ring on a chain. I picked it up. It said forever on it ,Inside it had our initials.

" I love it" I said. I put it on my neck and hugged him.

" thank you so much" I said. He kissed my lips.

" I love you"

" I love you too" I said smiling.

" time for school" I sighed and we walked back to the kitchen.

" let's go ill bring you" jake said

I hugged everyone and walked out. We got in an he went into his glove compartment.

" here" he said and handed me a small bag. I opened it and took out a white iPhone 5.

" jake" I said.

" we'll you don't have one so I figured you'd need one, all our numbers are in it and all the music you like on it." he said and I smiled.

" there's more"

I took out the phone case with the black veil brides symbol on it and a pair of ear buds.

" your a saint" I breathed out and he laughed as he pulled out of the drive way.

" figured you'd need music" he said

" of course"

He pulled in and I sighed.

" want me to come in with you?" He asked and I shook my head.

" no it's okay"

" I'll be here at 2, don't take anything, okay?" He asked and I nodded. He kissed my cheek.

" I love you."

" i love you too jake" I said and got out sighing. I walked into the school and right into the office.I got my schedule and walked out looking at the first class. Math.i started walking down the hall when I was shoved.

" hey look we got a new emo" I heard a bitchy voice say. I looked and saw a girl with brown hair and slutty cloths.
Next to her were 4 other girls.

One hit me in the face sending me to the ground.

" hey! Get the fuck away!"I heard a Guys voice yell.


I looked up and saw a boy about my age with short sandy brown hair that spiked a little in the front. He had on a black monster energy shirt and black skinny jeans with blue and white nikes. The girls gave a dirty look and ran away. He offered his hand out. I took it and he pulled me up.

" are you okay?" He asked and I nodded wiping my nose.

" I'm Justin" he said and shook my hand.

" Jessica but you can call me Jess" he smiled.

" where are ya from?"

" Massachusetts "

" wow Long way? Did your parents get a job down here?"

I sighed

" um no actually I moved with my brother jake"

" oh nice. Hey What's your schedule"

" I handed it to him and he smiled.

" we have the same classes lets go " he said grabbing my hand. I laughed.

Maybe today wouldn't be as bad.

Throughout the day we became close and it made the day bareable. He liked the same music and absolutely loves black veil brides. I didn't mention that jake was my brother. He kept me close and the girls that attacked me just gave me dirty looks. I shrugged them off. It was the best day of school ever.

It was time for guitar class which was the only class he didn't have with me. He had all my classes including band . He was a drummer also. He brought me to the guitar class and then hugged me.

" I'll meet you after okay?" He asked and I nodded. He walked away and I walked in. There was only 4 other kids in there , 2 preppy boys and the others were 2 preppy girls. The room was an open room with a piano and chairs around. On the wall there were acoustic guitars. I sat at a seat when The door slammed and the teacher came in. My eyes widened when she sat down. It was Susan, the lady I met at the beach.

She took attendance and saw me.

" oh hey Jessica! Your new here?" She asked and I nodded.

" we'll welcome! now class I want you all to pick a song to play and perform for the class for the final" she said as everyone grunted but got up to get printed out songs for beginners. She walked over to me.


" how are you sweety?" She asked and I smiled.

" amazing"

" that's good to hear. Do you have guitar experience?"

I nodded.

" great so you can pick a song that's harder" she said an smiled walking to her computer.

I thought for a minute and decided on who I am hates who I was by relient k because I already know it and I love the song.

I got up and grabbed a guitar and sat in the corner. I put my headphones in and played along with it feeling happy.

I was waiting outside with Justin. I was facing the school and he was In front of me.

We were in the middle of talking when his eyes widened. Before I had time to ask I felt myself being lifted from behind.

" Jess!!"

Andy.

He put me down and I hugged him then jake.

" hey jake hey Andy" I looked back at Justin who's mouth was wide open.

" is your friend broken?" Andy whispered and I laughed.

" you didn't tell me your brother was the jake Pitts!!" He yelled.

" you didn't ask" I said shrugging. He slapped my shoulder.

" Guys this is Justin, he saved my butt this morning, Justin you know Andy and jake."

" nice to meet you man" jake said and Justin shook his hand in awe.

" you guys are amazing I love your music" he said and Andy laughed.

" thanks means a lot." Andy said.

We heard a car horn and Justin regained himself.

" that's my ride see you tomorrow Jess, it was amazing meeting you Andy and jake" he shouted running to the car.

" Jess made some friends!!" Jake yelled hugging me and drawing attention.

" shut up" I said

" come on let's go ,we need to go to the studio so the girls are babysitting you" Andy said picking me up and putting me on his back.

" I'm 18 I don't need babysitters."

" says the girl who tripped over air this morning" Andy mocked.

" it was a fuckig coffee table!!" I yelled and they laughed as we made it to the car. For once , I couldn't wait to go to school tomorrow.
