Yes or no..... do I date Andy? We are from 2 different worlds, he is a jock and i’m just a nobody. Do I belong with him?

“Olive?” Oh shit what do I say?
“Yeah, okay” I look at Andy who now has a massive grin on his face.
“Really?” he says raising an eyebrow.
“Yeah why not, I like you, even though we are suppose to hate each other” I say looking down at my hands.
“Didn’t you once say something about opposites attract?” he says turning his head but eyes still on the road.
“That was in science class... they were talking about magnets” I say before letting out a chuckle. Andy looked over at me with a confused face for a moment.
“Oh right, totally knew that”
Andy’s car arrives at the front of my house.
“You coming?” I ask opening the door.
Andy grins and gets out of his car.
“Seems like yesterday I was here yelling at you because you were with Ronnie” I laugh at his comment.
“Yeah.... wait it was yesterday” I say looking at Andy who suddenly looked and me. We both burst out laughing.

“How do we deal with people at school... your friends hate me...” I say lowering my head looking at my shoes afraid of an answer.

“My friends love you, didn’t you see how they treated you at lunch? They think ur amazing...and so do I” he says lifting my head with his fingers.
We lock eyes almost immediately and all my worries fade... He leans in, closing his eyes and kisses me in the most passion driven kiss. I melt at the touch of his lips.
It takes me a while before I can stop myself and regain my concentration.

Is it all over? the pain, me torturing myself over Andy, will my life finally be normal?
I hear a car approaching but I don’t care, I finally get Andy and my chance at happiness.

“Oh my god....” I recognize the voice almost immediately, I step back from Andy not wanting to break the kiss.. I look at Andy who has wide eyes
“Eh...... hey Brodie...” Before I can say anything Brodie runs towards Andy and punches him on the face causing Andy to fall.

I cover my mouth in shock, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!
“Fuck!!” Andy screams on the floor holding onto his face.
“That was for ruining my chance you dick!” Andy’s eyes grow wider.
“What? i’m ruining your chance? she was single for ages.... you didn’t do a single thing” Andy says, his voice gradually getting louder.
“What?” I say looking at Brodie when I fell my eyes start to water.
“Look Ol, i’ve liked you for a very long time....I was going to tell you soon I swear..”
I am frozen....what do I do? I don’t hate him but I really like Andy.... I could lose him...
Andy looks at me and I could see he understands.
“Eh...look Brodie, I think we should both leave her alone... she doesn’t look to good” Andy says getting up and putting his hand on my head.

Brodie looks at me concerned.
“Okay quick you get her into get and i’ll get the medicine...”
“Brodie I can do all that myself, i’ll be fine thank you..” Brodie looked down with disappointment.

“Okay... i’ll come by later and check on you okay?” I nod and he looks at Andy furiously then heads to his car speeding off. I look at the ground, nothing has changed... it’s just more complicated....
