Forbidden Love

All we could do is look at each other. I opened my mouth to say something when my phone went off. Thank god! I quickly pick it up and look at the number.
“The hell?” I answer the phone and put it to my ear. Maintaining Andy’s stare
“Hello?” I hear wind in the background. Someone must be in a car.
“Hey Olive its Ronnie i’m coming to get you, do u want to go have dinner or something?”
Yes if you get me out of this place.
“Um.. yeah sure the address is-”
“Yeah I know where you love, i’ll be there in a sec” Thank the Gods.
I look at Andy who was staring at the phone in my hand. I hang up the phone and open my mouth to say something.
“Who was that?” Andy said quickly.
“It was Ronnie...” Andy’s face instantly turned to rage.
“Ronnie! seriously! You tell me you love me and you just sit there the next second taking with Ronnie?!!” I hear a car turn around the corner.
“Look Andy... I need to go..” He looked really upset. I quickly hug him an move away from him before Ronnie’s car shows up.
“Hey babe! come on lets go!” I look at Andy. He had tears in his eyes. No No No
“You hurt me Andy, its about time you feel what I have felt” I say before running over to Ronnie’s car and getting in the passenger seat. I look at Ronnie and smile before looking back at Andy. His face filled with hurt. So much hurt it made me ache.
Ronnie started driving off but we did not lose eyes contact until he was out of site.

“Why was Andy at your place?” Ronnie said
Fuck! what do I say ‘Oh yeah don’t worry i’m just in love with your best friend and he feels the same way about me’ No um.. Think!
“Um.. I left in such a rush I didn’t get the music homework so Andy drove over and gave it to me, i’m impressed that he was nice for a change”
Better at lying. Tick.
“Oh. Okay just looked like more than that” Ronnie said taking his eyes off the road for a second to look at me.
“Trust me it wasn’t” I said looking out the window
