Don't Be Scared I've Got You...

-Andy's POV-I awoke in a hospital bed. I lay there for about five minutes. Then all the memories came flooding back.
Shit. Jessie.
The doctor came in.
"Ahh Mr beirsack your awake." He said looking at his clipboard.
"Where is Jessie is she ok?" I said worried out my mind.
"Calm down you'll be able to see your friend once I've gone through your health status" he replied.
"Fine" I sighed lying back.
"You seem to be quite the lucky one, no bones fractured, just a slight concussion to the head and we had a little difficulty with your breathing due to the intake of chemicals that were released durning the accident. But you are quite alright now. Your friend is in a different ward. I don't know anything about her I'm afraid you'll have to ask the nurses that work in that word. But for now you are free to go" he smiled leaving.
I got up and got dressed and ran to the reception desk.
"Can I help you?" The lady asked.
"Yeah what ward is Jessie Lynn kept?" I said
"She is in the IC ward sir room 103" she replied looking at her computer screen.
"Can I ask what IC stands for" I said worried
"Intensive Care sir" she replied.
My heart sank.
I ran to the elevator.
When I got into her hospital room.
She lay there still. Please just be asleep.
"Are you Mr beirsack?" A nurse asked making me jump.
"Yeah" I replied sadly.
"Is she ok?" I asked worried.
"Yeah your friend is alive. We brought her back. However.."
"What? What is it?" I said
"I'm afraid Jessie is in a coma" replied the nurse.
"No" I began to cry.
"Im so sorry. We are gonna keep here here for as long as it takes." Replied the nurse sadly.
"Take as long as you need" said the nurse leaving.
I sat next to her and held her hand sobbing loudly.
"This is all my fault" I cried holding her soft hand that was so cold.
Her skin was pale with her bruises showing clear as day.
She was so lifeless.
I never felt so alone and so sad.
I sat out side in the hospital corridor for a bit trying to get my head straight.
I was then tapped on the shoulder.
I looked up to see a policeman giving me a apologetic smile.
"Are you the owner of the black ford?" He asked.
"Yeah" I said sadly.
"I am afraid your car is completely destroyed however when we were moving the vehicle off the road we were only able to recover this from the accident" he said reaching for his pocket.
He opened his hand to reveal. A small red box.
I took the box with tears in my eyes.
I opened it to reveal..
A ring.
