Don't Be Scared I've Got You...

-Andy's POV-I opened the box..
To reveal my worst enemy..
It contained 8 razor blades,
What looked like a mix or painkillers and weight loss pills and
a picture of her and her family.
my eyes widened at the sight. I turned round to face her,
She had her head down in shame as the tears ran down her red cheeks.
I put down the box and softly moved my hands across her arms gently grasping her elbows.
She then stepped forward giving me a tight hug. It was just a hug but to me it meant so much more.
I lifted my head trying to knock back the tears but I failed.
"How can you love someone that's so broken" she choked as her face pressed against my chest.
"Your not broken to me baby doll" I said kissing her forehead.
"I feel so ashamed" she whispered.
"Ashamed of what princess" I added clapping her soft hair.
"These" she replied lifting her arm pulling up her sleeve.
"They prove how strong you are baby." I said running my finger up the bumps on her arm.
"But they are so hideous" she whimpered
" that's what good old batman is for sweetie, I stitch these wounds. In Fact we stitch these wounds and you don't ever forget that" I said kissing her lips that tasted salty from her tears
I lifted her up bridal style and walked outside with the box.
"Where are we going" she said wiping her tears.
"You'll see I promise." I said as we disappeared into the darkness.
It was cold I could see my breath in the air.
I sat Jessie down on a picnic bench and grabbed a bunch of loose twigs.
I then got my lighter from my back pocket and lit the pile of twigs on fire making a camp fire.
I opened the box and took out the picture offering it to Jessie.
She took it and stood up.
I threw the box in and Jessie threw the photo into the flames.
I wrapped my arm round her and rubbed her back.
"Please don't leave me" she said starring into the fire causing her eyes to glisten in the night.
"I won't leave I promise"
"What if I mess up again.. What if..."
"Shhh.....darling you'll be ok" I cut her off putting my finger on her lips.
-Jessie's POV-
-half an hour later-
The lodge was silent.
The only light was from the moon.
Andy is asleep while I lie in bed thinking about before.
"Darling you'll be ok" kept replaying in my head.
Just hearing that made me feel so much better.
I'm safe. I have finally found someone I can love and trust.
He is my world. He is my saviour...
I fell asleep..
-Andy's POV-
I flinched to the sound of thunder outside. Lightning flashes from the window at the bottom of the lodge. Crap I hate thunder. I just gotta get through it I guess. I forgot to bring my headphones too so I'm screwed.
I closed my eyes.
-Jessie's POV-
I heard a thunder storm from outside. It didn't bother me. I carried on sleeping. Until I hears Andy squirm about in the bed next to me.
-Andy's nightmare-
*THUNDER*
"Andy!!!!" I heard my brother call from down stairs.
"What!!!" I shouted running down stairs.
"Mom and dad are fighting again you know what that means" he said.
"I'll grab my bike I'll be right back" I added putting on my shoes.
We rode our bikes to the woods which is where we normally hang out when mom and dad have their arguments which is quite regular may I add.
We climbed the tree heading towards our tree house that looked over the river.
Collin climbed first. The weather wasn't very stable and the wind was strong.
*SNAP CRACKLE*
My head turned.
The branch had snapped as my brother was hanging by one hand on the tree branch before me.
I began to pull him up but her smiled.
"they don't need to understand" and he let go.
Falling into the river drowning before my eyes.
-end of dream-
-Jessie's POV-
I got up from my bed to the sound of Andy crying.
"Collin!!!!!! Collin No!!!!!," he cried
"Andy! Hey....hey.." I said lightly shaking him.
He calmed down and opened is eyes.
"Hey.... Your alright it was just a dream." I said cupping my hands round his head wiping his tears with my thumb.
He sat up.
and hugged me tightly and began to cry.
"God I look so stupid" he whimpered as his head resting on my shoulder.
"Let it all out babe" I said combing his hair with my hands.
"I'm sorry" he whispered with a shaky breath.
"Sorry for what honey" I said kissing his hand.
As he lay back in bed and I lay next to him as my head rested on his chest.
"Sorry for being scared" he said tears running down his pale skin.
" even batman gets scared sometimes baby and you should never be ashamed of your tears baby" I said kissing his lips as we both fell asleep.
A busy day awaits us...
