Blood Thirsty

*Andy's POV*

When I woke up, I wasn't on the couch. I was in my bed, under my blanket. I lifted it to see that I was also in my batman pajama pants. I got out of bed and walked into the lounge to see Ash sitting on the couch, writing in his book. "Hey..." I whispered softly, making him jump out of his skin. "Oh.... Hey....." He replied, obviously still upset about last night. I was about to go back to my bunk when his voice stopped me. "When were you going to tell me? That if we weren't careful, you could potentially turn me into a vampire." He growled, anger dripping from his words like acid. I felt like crying. "I wanted to bring it up with you Ashley, but I just.... Didn't know how...." I winced, tears threatening to spill over. "I trusted you with my life! And you repay me by keeping this giant ass secret from me?! We've been dating for six months, and it never came up!? Maybe I don't want to be a vampire, or have my fucking soul bound to some one! I like being human! Did that thought ever come to your head?!?!" He screamed before pushing past me, and going to his bunk. Now that he was gone, the tears fell. The bus was parked for a while, so that the bus driver could get some rest. I ran off the bus, and into the near by woods. I walked until I got to a fallen tree. I sat down on the trunk, then proceeded to bursting into violent sobs. Sure, Ash and I had our fights, but none of them were like this. I had wanted to tell him, but this is what I was afraid of. I continued to sob until I heard a stick snap. I jolted up and saw Jinxx, standing there. As soon as I saw him, I started sobbing again. He silently walked over to me, and pulled me close to him. "Sshhhh... It's okay.... Everything's going to be okay..." He soothed. His voice was so calming, like water in a lazy river. Everything about him just felt, relaxing. Like everything was going to be okay. I buried my head in his chest, taking in his sent. He was just as intoxicating as Ashley, more actually. Wait, what? His long, spidery fingers ran through my hair, calming me even more. "He said that he doesn't want to be a vampire..... And that he doesn't want his soul bound to me....." I whispered after I had calmed down. "I know.... I heard the whole thing.... That was a super dick move of him...." Jinxx whispered back, resting his chin on the top of my head. We sat there for a while, in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, just a comfortable silence as we took in the sounds of the forest. I finally broke the silence. "You were the one who put me to bed weren't you." I said teasingly, pointing down at my batman pajamas that I still had on. He smiled and laughed. "How did you know?" He asked, playfully hitting me. "If I fell asleep around Ashley, he would put me to bed fully clothed." I whispered in his ear. Jinxx blushed and just laughed harder. We eventually walked back to the bus, just as the bus driver was ready to leave. When we stepped onto the bus, we were met by the stone cold face of Ashley Purdy. I quietly walked passed him, leaving Jinxx with him as I slipped into my bunk and listened to my 'Andy's Dark Side' playlist on Spotify on full blast. Drowning out the world.
