Blood Thirsty

*Andy's POV*

Later that day, Ashley broke up with me. He told me that he still loved me, but he didn't want to be a vampire. He liked being human, but he still wanted to be friends with me. I was hurt. I lied in my bunk, just staring at the ceiling. I don't know why I felt okay with this, but I did. I can understand not wanting to be a vampire, because all I wanted to be was human. I suddenly felt tears running down my cheeks. I started to cry softly, letting out small whimpers every once in a while. I almost jumped out of my skin when my curtain was pulled back. There stood Jinxx, smiling softly. "Can I come in?" He asked quietly. I nodded, scooting over as much as possible so Jinxx could fit in the bunk. He lifted himself into the bunk, and shut the curtain behind him. He turned towards me, and held his arms up. I hesitated for a moment before I scooted over to him, and rested my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. He wrapped his right arm around my back, and stroked my hair with his left. This calmed me down. I suddenly had the overwhelming desire to kiss him. I felt the same way that I had felt with Ash, but this felt, calming. Instead of making my thirst grow, being close to Jinxx soothed the burning desire within my soul, something Ashley could never do. I smiled at this thought, snuggling closer to him (if that was even possible). I heard him chuckle, sending deep vibrations through his chest. I took my hand, and started drawing over the tattoos on his arm, leaving goosebumps as I went. I heard his heartbeat quicken within his chest. I looked up into his eyes. They sparkled like Ashley's did, but this time, things felt different. A warm feeling spread through me, calming the monster that was within me. For the first time in my life, I felt total peace. Jinxx moved his hand from my hair to my cheek, stroking my cold skin. I blushed softly, making him chuckle again. "You look so adorable when you blush." He whispered. This made me blush even more. I felt something that I had never felt before. Slowly, I moved my head closer to Jinxx's. He licked his lips as his eyes darted to mine. He wanted this as bad as I did! My eyes fluttered shut as my lips softly came in contact with his, sending a spark of electricity through my body. He slowly kissed me back, bringing his hand to the back of my neck. I growled softly when I felt his tongue brush my lower lip, asking to enter my mouth. I complied, opening my mouth so that he could explore. After a few minutes, we pulled apart. He smiled at me and kissed the top of my head. "I love you, Andy." He whispered to me. "I love you too, Jinxxy." I whispered back, falling asleep in his arms.
