Love is a Bitch
Chapter 8
I'd been home for about 30 minutes when I heard the boys come crashing it. I rolled my eyes and looked up from my book to make sure the door was locked. I returned to my book and then snapped it shut with a frustrated sigh. It was hard to focus with those dumb asses making so much noise.
I wanted to open my door and tell them all to quite down, but Andy still hasn't told then I live here and pays me 20 bucks to keep hidden and stay quiet. That was $20 that I was NOT about to give up on. I stood and stretched waiting about an hour before sneaking out of the room. I sat on the top of the stairs that led down to the basement.
As much as I hated those boys and knowing that if I got caught, it wasn't going to be pretty, I snuck down here every day they practiced. I loved their music. Even if I complained to Andy about it.
I closed my eyes as Andy's deep voice drifted up the stairs to me. It was a sound that even Angels in heaven stopped singing to listen to. My body swayed to the rhythm. I believe this one was called Savior. It was my all time favorite by them.
I couldn't keep from humming along quietly. I stayed there until I heard the boys beginning to pick up, This was the only time I was thankful for their loudness. I picked myself up and headed back to my room.
