the one that bites

Andy walks up and wraps his arm around the stranger. "Amelia this is Juliet, my girlfriend." I continue to glare at her. "Amelia! Stop glaring!" I flinch at his harsh tone. I try to push past them but he grabs my forearm tightly. "I wasn't done talking to you Amelia." I smile bitterly at them. "Well, Dad, I was." I rip my arm from him and run up the stairs to my room.


I lock the door and I hear him call after me. I rub my arm. I throw open the window and climb down the vine on the side of the house. I run to the park where Dylan was but nobody was there. The sun sets and I rub my arms. I start walking back and get lost. I walk along a side walk and a man walks towards me. "Hey I'm lost! Can you help me find my way back home?" He smiles. His eyes are yellow and fangs grow. I gulp. "Um…never mind I'll find my own way back." I turn around and start walking.

The man grabs me and bites into my neck. I scream. "Get off her!" I feel the man being torn from me. My vision blurs and I stumble. I start to fall but I feel someone catch me. "It's okay baby. Daddy's here." I slowly drift away into a deep sleep.
