He Has A Heart Of Fire

Around 4am, I shot up in Andy's bed, covered in sweat and my breathing heavy. I'd had a nightmare that had woken me up. They can't get me anymore, they're gone, I'm fine, I assured myself.
Then I realised it was early on Monday morning. I had to go home and get ready for work!
I pulled off Andy's t-shirt that I had put on at some point through the night. It was more like a nightdress, I was tiny compared to him. I pulled on my clothes after finding them around his room in the dark, and began to write a note:
"Andy
I have to go home and get ready for work.
We'll talk soon.
Autumn xo"
I placed the note on his bedside table, before stroking his hair back and planting a gentle kiss on his head.
Luckily, I wasn't drunk or hungover, so I was able to drive my car home. I couldn't help think about last night and smile to myself. Despite being tipsy, it really had been an amazing night.

I got back to the apartment, quietly closing the door behind me as to not wake Taz up. I headed towards the bathroom after grabbing a towel and started the shower.
I heard a door open and close, followed by footsteps in the hallway. Then, the was a knock on the bathroom door. I went and opened it to find Taz stood in the hallway wearing one of my brothers tshirts and some shorts.
"Where have you been all night?" she questioned quietly, stepping into the bathroom and shutting the door behind her.
"I went over to Andy's and slept over." I replied calmly. Her eyes widened along with the grin on her face.
"Ah, I see," she was nodding her head with a mischievious smile. "You can tell me about that later."

I continued to get a shower, then I got ready for work and left.
I walked into the pre-school that I worked at, smiling at the receptionist. She looked at me strangely.
"Miss Snow, what are you doing here?"
"What do you mean? Prudence, I work here." I laughed, thinking that her old age had her forgetting things.
"Not anymore, we received your letter of resignation last Friday, you've already been replaced."
"What?!" I ran towards my normal classroom and looked inside. Sure enough, there was a different teaching assistant welcoming my students inside, while Mrs Connolly was sat at her desk preparing their work.
I stormed back to the reception. "Prue, can I see that letter of resignation, please?"
She handed it to me gingerly as I began to examine it.
I recognised the handwriting immediately and instantly knew whose it was. I also knew where they'd be right now.
I marched out of the building and towards my car, racing out of the parking lot and in the direction of my apartment.
When I got there, I flung the door open, making Taz's, Tobi's and Jason's heads whip around.
"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?" I basically shrieked at Jason.
He put his hands up, shaking and said "I don't know what you're talking about!"
"You forged a letter of resignation from me!" My nostrils flared. "I no longer have a job! How am I supposed to pay for rent, and the bills, and food?!" Taz and Tobi looked between me and Jason in shock. "Who does that?!" I screamed.
"It's okay, it's okay," Jason still had his hands up in defence. "I have a plan!"
"Oh, well then please, inform me!"
"We're going to start a band and become famous!"
We all looked at him in disbelief. There was a reason he was the baby of the group.
I called Andy, I needed to get out and take my mind off this before I took it out on someone.
Soon enough, Andy pulled up in front of our apartment building and I jumped into his Mustang.

"You want to tell me what happened?" Andy looked over at me from the wheel.
"Jason forged a letter of resignation from me and sent it to the pre-school I work at," I sighed. "Worked."
"Who the fuck does that?!" Andy's eyebrows pulled together. "Did he say why?"
"He said it would be okay because we were going to start band and become famous, like it's so easy to do that overnight."
Andy was quiet for a few minutes, focusing on the road. We'd been driving for a half hour now.
We stopped at some traffic lights, and his head whipped around to look at me.
"It is easy to do it quickly." He was grinning.
"What?" I was confused."
"Think about it," he started. "You're all amazing musicians. You're a singer, Taz is a guitarist, Tobi is a drummer, and Jason, although not very smart, is a bassist!"
I just stared at him. "And we're going to get famous just like that are we?" I said, clicking my fingers.
"You will when you have Black Veil Brides training you." He couldn't wipe the grin off his face.
