He Has A Heart Of Fire

Link

Nightmares had woken me up early the next morning. They looked so real, I was almost convinced they were.
I shook off the fright and spent the next hour trying to get to sleep, but ended up watching Andy. He looked adorable, so peaceful.
When I noticed it was 8am, I quietly got out of bed, careful not to wake him. Luckily, I didn't get hangovers very easily, so I only had a mild headache from the night before.
I walked into the living room to discover everyone had gone home at some point through the night/early morning.

The frying pan sizzled as I poured in some pancake mix I'd found in the fridge. I was wearing one of Andy's white button-up shirts, with some underwear underneath, dancing around the kitchen to the radio.
I flipped the pancake in the pan and set it back down before doing a twirl, and then immediately stopped when I realised that Andy was on the other side of the breakdast bar, watching me with a smile on his face.
"Having fun there, Miss Snow?" he laughed.
"Indeed I am, Mr Biersack," I smiled back at him, leaning over the breakfast bar to plant a kiss on his nose.

We ate our pancakes with maple syrup, and spent the rest of the morning cleaning the aftermath of the party and then watching a movie on the couch. Halfway through watching 'Batman and Robin', Andy's phone started ringing.
"Hello? Hey Rob. Yeah, she's with me. Okay, cool, see you then." I looked at him. "Rob said that they've recruited your new guitarist earlier than they thought, and want everyone in his office by two so we can all meet him."
"Oh okay," I smiled. "Can I go use your shower? And maybe borrow a clean tshirt?"
We both showered and got dressed, with time to go to Starbucks before going to meet Rob.
I sipped my frappe in Andy's Mustang, careful not to spill any of it.

We were the last ones to arrive at Rob's office. Andy and I walked inside to see the rest of both of our bands, but no Rob and no new guy.
"Rob's just gone to get him," Tobi explained.
While we waited, we all sat around the table. We were mixed now, rather than seperated by bands. Rob entered the room, interupting our group conversation about the Guitar Hero games, followed by a boy who looked around Jason's age, with swishy black hair and snakebites.
"Ah, Andy and Autumn, you grace us with your presences!" Rob joked as Andy and I apologised. "Black Veil Brides and This Moment Forever, I introduce to you, Tyler Lincoln! Tyler is 22 years old, he's been playing guitar since he was 8 and has always wanted to be in a band!"
Tyler looked at us all, smiling, and said "I prefer being called Link."
We spent the next hour and a half getting to know Link, just general conversation like you have when you make a new friend, so it wasn't at all like an interview. Afterwards, we all went to TacoBell for dinner.

Over the next few weeks, we spent a lot of time with our 'coaches' from Black Veil Brides, learning many new things about easier and better ways to play on stage and we learned a couple of songs together to practice keeping in time with each other. Black Veil Brides helped us all write and learn our own songs, enough to make a full album, and we managed to perfect all of them.
We played some small gigs around town, getting used to the stage, and even had our own song featuring Andy!
We all created twitter accounts with TMF after our names, so mine was @AutumnTMF, as well as an account for the entire band. We gained a couple hundred followers after playing a few small shows, and people even asking if we were releasing an album.
These few weeks flew by quickly, we all learned so much in such a short space of time, and with Andy's help, I had become a lot more confident with my voice. Everyone in This Moment Forever became really close friends with everyone in Black Veil Brides, Link quickly became good friends with all of us, and mine and Andy's relationship was going amazingly. We hadn't gone public yet, though. "We should have some privacy before being bombarded by magazines, fans and photographers," he had told me, not wanting to jinx it.
Taz and Tobi were having a bit of a rough patch, but apart from that, things had been perfect.
Before we knew it, it was the week before Black Veil Brides were due to go back on tour.

Notes

This is a small chapter, I know, but the next one will be uploaded either tonight or tomorrow afternoon, and it's a good'un! c:
