I Was So Bitter, Till You Came Along

Andy and I were downstairs on the couch watching television when Ashley returned. He had grocery bags with him, and Andy got up to help him. I followed, heading towards the kitchen.

"Hey, Casey. You got a shower?" Ashley asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Yeah. Andy helped me," I said. I smiled at Andy as they both put the groceries away.

"Well, I'm going to get dinner started soon, so you guys can hang out for a bit," Ashley said. I nodded. Andy and I both returned to the living room, and he pressed a quick kiss against my lips, making me laugh quietly.

"He has no idea," I said. Andy only chuckled and pulled me down onto his lap, kissing me again.

"I heard that- oh," Ashley muttered as he emerged from the kitchen. Andy and I both looked over, and I buried my head in the crook of Andy's neck.

"You guys... are you-?" Ashley asked.

"Yeah. We're together," Andy said, and I could hear the smile in his voice. I looked back up, watching as Ashley's lips curled into a small smile.

"Congrats, then," he said, and he retreated back to the kitchen. With Andy's help, I sat down next to him, and I faced him.

"Baby... what do I do about your fans if they don't like me?" I asked him. He sighed and grabbed my hand.

"From what I can tell, they already love you," he reassured me.

"Yeah, but what will happen when we tell them we're dating? I'm bound to get a lot of hate mail, and you know it. Everyone does," I said. Andy faced me completely, and he placed his free hand on my left knee.

"I'll tell you this much; if you see any hateful things, ignore it. You can't let it get to you, or else they have something against you. Okay?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'm nervous. I don't know how relationships work," I said. He leaned in and pressed a soft kiss against my lips.

"I can't tell you how to act in a relationship, but it is good to talk about things. If you ever have anything you need to talk about, just know that I'm here. Always," he told me. I nodded.

"Now, how about a picture, huh?" He queried, taking his phone out of his pocket. He opened the camera, and he kissed me, and he snapped a picture, the sound of the camera going off.

"Do you like it? Because I could take pictures of us kissing all fucking day," Andy said. I laughed.

"I love it," I said. He nodded and opened Twitter.

"Tag me in it, babe," I said, and I watched as he did as I said, tagging me and posting it. I cuddled up against him, and we waited for people to reply. Most of them were amazing.

"See, baby. Like that one," I pouted, pointing at a tweet directed at me.

"Simple. I can block people," he said with a laugh. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, opening up Instagram, and I snapped a photo of Andy while he scrolled through his phone.

I posted it, and I set my phone down on the couch beside me. However, it started to ring, and I answered it.

"Hey, John," I said happily.

"I saw it. You two are dating?" He asked. I looked up at Andy.

"Yeah," I said.

"I guess calling for a quick fuck is out of the question," he said with a laugh. I laughed with him.

"It definitely is," I said.

"Well, have fun. You deserve it," he said.

"Promise you won't stop talking to me. That sounded like you were ditching me. You're still my friend, O' Callaghan," I said. He laughed once more.

"There's no way I couldn't not be friends with you. But I do have to go now. I'll talk to you some other time," he said, and he hung up. I set my phone down, and I curled back up next to Andy.
