“See that star over there?” Vic said, his eyes bright with excitement.

A wide grin spread slowly across CC’s face when he looked into Vic’s excited eyes.

“The one at the end of the big dipper?” Vic added and pointed with the theatrical flair of Peter Pan.

CC squinted at the sky, seeking out any familiar constellations. He noticed the little dipper first and followed it to the Big Dipper. He saw the star Vic was staring at in wide eyed wonderment.

“That’ll be our star!” He giggled and wrapped his arms around CC’s waist.

CC blushed and looked up at the star for a moment, held close by Vic. Vic kissed CC’s cheek quickly. CC giggled and nuzzled into the nape of Vic’s neck.
