BITE

Jensen sat quietly waiting for marie to come back home with lunch. Their house sat in the edge of France next to the ocean. Today was a particularly cold day and even the vampires were wearing coats. Jensen had been watching out of the window and picking up on tiny bits and pieces of conversation here and there.
He was getting rather board of this until two young girls just a bit older than himself started trudging down the beach.
"Why the duck did you go in the water.it's freezing." One said.
"Fire fairies get hotter when it's cold. And why does it matter your dead and like zero degrees anyway Copland." The other said to who he guessed was Copland.
"I was never alive so I'm not dead. Bandit you're such an idiot. My body temperature is 32 the water is negative Seven." Copland said and Jensen laughed and watched as they slowly approached the house.
Marie Had snuck up behind him with three glasses of the sweetest smelling blood and a glass of some odd liquid he'd never seen before
"We have guests today. Please be on your best behavior. And don't tell them that you had two vampire parents. People are very biasist about that. But-" marie had been explaining this to him his whole life
"Since my mother imprinted on me I'm very different from the monsters that fought our battles in the dark days." He smiled placing a hand on her shoulder
"Right anyway these are the kids off the heads of rebellion. I know I should have asked you if you want to be a part of this but I just hate the king so much." Marie made a face.
Jensen growled. "If it's a chance to hurt the queen then so be it I'll join." He said with hate.
Marie covered a laugh with her hand and walked back to open the door. She smiled the girls and let them in. She filed them in to the room where Jensen stood up until the three girls were sitting around the table. "Jensen this is-"
"Copland the born vampire and bandit the fire fairy. I'm Jensen." He smiled at the girls who looked bewildered "I could hear you down the beach." Marie liked up quickly shocked. That talent was meant only for two vampire parents.
Copland's eyes got wide at that. "So that's your talent? I can go for years without blood and nothing happens. But being able to hear from a long way away would be awesome don't you think so bandit?" She rambled on about it
"I'm sorry but Copland doesn't meet many boy vampires her own age. Forgive her rambling." Bandit smiled and Copland cheeks turned super red. Jensen laughed and her face got reder.
"Ok, here Copland bat blood, I heard this was your favorite." Marie cut in and Copland smiled and nodded. "For the lovely bandit liquid fire.Jensen," she handed him the vampire blood and sipped her god knows what.
"So Marie what did you want to talk to us about?" Asked bandit just doing her drink as Copland gulped hers down
"I wanted to know about tonight's plans." Marie said and Copland put the empty flea night and started rambling about breaking out a prisoner from the dungeons. Jensen sipped his drink with disinterest. That was until he heard the words "then bandit and I are going to go kill the queen for her treason."
"I want to kill the queen." Jensen said out if no where. The room got silent as bandits mouth opened spilling the drink over the floor.
"Well doesn't this sound familiar." Marie smiled. No one else got the joke. "That was funny by the way.Dan lack of teachers today.I'm in the history books." Marie huffs and the girls look at Jensen
"What did she ever do to you?" Copland asked. She was the only one still in the cave when the ordeal happened.
"Nothing I just feel like she knows something about my parents.something I want to know. Need to know. She killed them I know it." Copeland knows with bandit and Marie liked concerned. He wouldn't kill her. He couldn't but this resentment towards his mother want healthy.
"Alright.welcome to the team."Bandit said and Copeland nodded.
They left soon after that to the quarters of rebellion where he was accepted for the job. Soon they left for the palace of versie where I was waiting in the throne room and Andrew who I had forgotten even existed was being broken out by two men I once idolized.
