letter to my heroes

your guys music saves lives i would know because it saved mine my names emily liter i live in Indiana and am 15 years old i have been a member of the bvb army for 2 years and before i found the band i was a die hard motley and sixx am fan nikki sixx was my hero still is hes the reason i found black veil brides while looking for a pic of him for my background i came across a pic of the band looked you guys up and after listening to heart of fire was hooked when i listened to saviour i cried tears of joy because like all fans the song feels like its talking to you and i needed that because 8th grade year i started wearing black and things that were deemed unchristian and evil (band tees) i come from a school that has a high school of five hundred kids in the whole high school who were primly christians not the nice kind the be like us or dont exist at all kind i was picked on for months when i just gave up and started cutting something i thought i would never do at home it was worse i was abused both verbally and physically after a fight with my dad one night my stepmom came into my room and tried to choke me then told me i was a waste of space and should kill myself i was going to do it to but my phone got dropped and started to pay music and the song that came on was never give in in those moments i put down the blade and said enough was enough i moved out of my house and went to live with relatives who accepted me I'm now 2 months cut free its been really hard but with your guys music and the people on this sites amazing stories and kind comments i know ill be okay so with that i say god bless the bvb army and family
