Welcome To My Life

She Misses Her Poppy And He Misses His Matt!

Aaron and Sylvie's apartment was usually quiet while they sipped coffee in the mornings. The current one started out the same as always but of course, Andy came bursting through the door.

"Matt has a girlfriend!" He frowned, his lips puffing out. "He's going to leave me!"

"Andy.." Sylvie scoffed. "You're not gay, right?"

"Of course not! But he's one of my friends and I miss him already." Andy groaned and crashed down on Sylvie's lap. "What if he stops hanging out with me?"

"Then you have me!" She exclaimed, ruffling his long hair. It was curly due to the lack of him straightening it.

"But-but.." He frowned. "Matt is my partner in crime!"

Sylvie scoffed. "And I'm not!?"

"Well, as of now I'm pretty positive your sister has more of a thing for me than you do." Andy smirked as Aaron laughed so hard he almost fell off of the couch. Sylvie hit her hand against his chest and shoved him off of her lap. "Ow!"

"Don't talk shit to me Biersack!" She exclaimed, crossing her arms.

"Jesus, noted." He laughed, standing up. She laid down on the couch and patted the spot in front of her. Andy followed her example and soon enough she was hugging him tightly.

"At least we can make out and cuddle. I'm pretty sure Matt and you didn't have that." She smirked, kissing his cheek a few times.

They both watched as Aaron stood up, winking at them and walking out of the room. "Don't fuck up my couch.." He called over his shoulder making Sylvie scoff.

"Shut up!" She exclaimed, running her black painted nails through Andy's soft tresses. He looked so at peace in that moment, his eyes fluttering shut just at her soft touch. His skin was so soft and his back hugged her stomach like they were two puzzle pieces from one of those shitty puzzles your grandma used to get you for Christmas.

"You know, I miss my best friend too." She giggled, kissing the chord of his neck. His blue eyes rolled up to where she was and he smiled softly.

"Really?" He mumbled.

"Yeah, this is the longest Poppy and I have ever been apart. She's my partner in crime.." She winked. "She's gotten me through everything.."

"Did you have to go through a lot?" He asked, turning so his arms could circle around her skinny waist. She glanced away from him, a bit embarrassed.

"I don't know.." She mumbled but felt his finger guide her chin back to him. "I guess."

"Like what?" He asked. "I want to know more about you, dragonfly. I feel like your hiding things from me."

She rolled her eyes away from him and towards the picture of Poppy and her sitting on the table next to the couch. They looked so happy- so complete but now they were thousands of miles apart.

"I had this boyfriend." She mumbled, not looking away from the picture of Poppy and her. "He was everything to me and then.." She shook her head. "He cheated on me. After like two years.."

She finally built up enough courage to look at Andy but when she did she saw nothing but compassion in his marble blue eyes. "And it really fucking broke me."

"And that's why you just want to be friends.." He realized finally. This perfect girl in front of him needed to be put back together and he would do that. It was his new mission.

"Yes." She whispered, burying her face in his neck and letting out a long sigh. "Do you hate me?"

He only chuckled, picking up a long strand of hair. "How could I ever hate you?"

"I don't know. I guess I kind of lied." She shrugged. He pulled back and caught her hands in his.

"I could never hate you. No matter where this goes, I still want you to be in my life from now on." He smiled, pecking her button nose. She really was cute and kind and compassionate. Andy was nothing compared to this gem.

She shined when she walked into a room and somehow she'd chosen him to repair her heart. Why the hell did she do that?

Well he wouldn't let her down, he cared too much and he silently vowed that he would be everything to Sylvie. Everything he could be. Everything she would let him be.

"Me too." Sylvie nodded, laying her head on his inviting chest.

They were silent for a good ten minutes, not moving, just breathing in each other. They'd never felt so complete in their lives and they wondered who was up in the clouds great enough to place them in each other's path.

"My ex cheated on me too." Andy mumbled against her hair. Sylvie chuckled.

"Guess we have that in common too." She said, her blue eye peeking up to look at him.

He smirked but it faltered as all of the memories came flooding back to him. All of the fights, the tears. He would never forget how ear shatteringly loud their last fight was.

He was on tour over seas and his phone was pressed tightly to his ear. His ex and him had cheated on each other. It started when she slept with her manager and then he slept with a groupie then she slept with her friend and so on. They cheated and cheated and pretended not to notice as their lives fell apart. He knew it was the end when she told him that he would never make it. That he was worthless.

That was a day Andy would never forget. How cruel her voice sounded, the feeling of his heart ripping right inside of his chest. Usually they could make it through the worst of arguments but she was throwing so many hurtful things at him that they still poured salt in his wounds when he just thought about them.

That's why his friends wanted him to find someone new. So Scout Taylor Compton and Andy Six would just be a tag on MySpace, and Twitter rather than part of his life. So he could start being himself again but the hard part was finding the Andy that he had lost.

They'd been together for two years and in a small portion of those two years he was the happiest he'd ever been but now when he thought of them he wanted to cry himself to sleep. He missed her everyday but the pain was now bearable.

Especially with Sylvie.

"How about this.." He chuckled, taking her hand and entwining it with his. "Fuck the world."

She giggled, squeezing his knuckles. "Fuck the world."

Aaron, Sylvie, and Andy walked through Hollywood Highland mall. After he moped around for a little while, they all decided to get him out and about.

"Coffee?" Sylvie suggested, feeling Andy lace his rough hand with hers. It fit like a glove and she couldn't help but give him a sweet smile. His eyes were light as he looked down at her. The feeling of absolute infatuation was ever present in his mind as he squeezed her palm.

"Sounds great." He said as they all veered into a Starbucks. They ordered their drinks- Andy and Sylvie getting the same thing as a complete coincidence.

As Andy stared down at her, he realized the magnitude of her personality. He started the day off, upset and pissed but now he was as happy as could be.

He was the luckiest person in the world to even know her and he wondered silently if they had been meant for each other all along.
