Save Me From Myself

*Mitch's POV*
I woke up with a terrible headache again. I bet it's not a surprise that I ended up in a bar after what happened yesterday.

(Back to yesterday)
I ran and ran and ran. I didn't stop until I couldn't breathe anymore. I looked around while I was catching my breath. I saw a bar at the opposite of the street. I went inside and saw my band mate Dan Kenny. He looked up from his drink and mentioned me to take a seat next to him. After I sat down he asked "You should really stop drinking that much." "I know man but I can't." "Yes you can. You just don't want to. What was it this time?" I drank some whiskey and answered "Ally and I had an argument about her new chrush.Then it accidentally slipped out that I'm in love with her. She got scared and said I should leave." "Where you drunk?" "No but I had a hangover from last night." "Ok.But why do you argue about her chrush with her? You never did that before." "I don't know. It just came over me. I mean when we lost contact my feelings for her faded away. But now they are back and it's worse than before. I can't hide it anymore." He thought a long while. Then he spoke "Well...One thing is clear. If you really want to be with her,you have to stop drinking and stop being such an asshole. If you can't do that,you should forget her and move on." I fought with myself for a while.On one hand,I really wanted to be with her and I knew that won't happen if I continued being a alcoholic. On the other, I couldn't do it alone. Then I made a decision. "Your right DK. I need to stop that. I'm gonna go to therapy. I'll do it for her."

(Back in today)
I was going to keep my promise. I will fight for her. I will show her that I can be a good person. Not just that alcohol addict.
