Before The Angels Fell

Rileys POV

If I was nervous going to Andy's before, I was having an anxiety attack going to Jinxx's.
We walked from the elevator to his apartment and I started to cower behind Andy. There was no way I could walk in first.
We reached the door and you could feel the music shaking the building. Andy knocked loudly. Nothing.
"Their not gonna hear us. Just call Jinxx or something" I said.
"Nahh, I got this" he smirked. "JINXX! OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!" He yelled and banged on the door.
A moment later the doorknob jiggled and Sammi dressed in 1800's style clothes.
"Hey guys, about time! Come in" she said stepping out of the way. "Loving your costumes. What are you?" Sammi asked.
Andy looked at me and smiled. "Come on Sam. Can't you guess?"
"They're fallen angels! It's obvious!" Ashley said obnoxiously.
I saw Andy roll his eyes. "Yes Ashley, we are fallen angels."
"We arethe fallen angels. They're the lyrics" Ashley said smugly.
"Don't fuck with me Purdy boy! You've got it coming!" Andy said going right up to Ashley and getting in his face.
"Andy, why don't you go get us drink? Go on" I said tugging him away.
"Fine" he said and stormed off.
"You really like getting under his skin don't you?" I said to Ashley.
"No, he's just easy. The real worry is what's under your skin? Trying to scratch out the bugs?" He said taking a sip of his drink.
"Okay, that is really unfair! I was never on meth! I have an anxiety disorder. I'm sorry if my previous pill popping habit annoys you, but you have no idea what I went through."
"You know I'm only joking with you Riles. Andy has defended you enough times. I just like pushing your buttons" he shrugged and walked away as Andy neared me.
"Is he ever going to stop being a dickhead? It's really annoying."
"I know, but meh. I don't think he'll bother me too much more. He's only joking..."
"Sure..."
Andy handed me my drink and I took a large gulp. I looked around Jinxx's apartment and he had done an amazing job decorating. Keeping to the 1800's theme of Sammi's costume, the furniture was all from that era. With loads of candles around the place to make the place glow. It was terrifying.
"Shouldn't we go find Jinxx?" I said.
"Yeah, we should. Let's go on the balcony, might be there" Andy said leading me into another room.
Jinxx was outside with Sammi sitting across his lap and Jake and Ella.
"Hey, there's the host! Been looking all over" Andy said, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it.
"Hey guys. What are you meant to be?" Jake asked.
"We're fallen angels" I said plucking a feather off my chest.
"Ahhh good one guys. A change from Batman, hey Andy?" Jinxx commented.
"Shut up" Andy said blowing out smoke.
"Hey Andy, do you mind if I had a puff?" I asked quietly.
Andy looked shocked. "I thought you didn't smoke."
"I don't" I lied. I use to smoke, but only when I first started my stripping job cause it made me nervous. "I just have been feeling a little anxious lately and I thought it might help."
"If you think so. I don't want this becoming your medication" he said cautiously handing me the cigarette.
I took a puff in and let the chemicals fill my lungs. I forgot how relaxed it made me. I sighed and gave it back to him.
"You okay?"
"Better now" I smiled and took another gulp of my drink.
"Riley, you know you can talk to me if something is bothering you. Please don't keep things from me" Andy said, softening his blue eyes.
I stood on my tippy toes to gently kiss his lips. "I'm fine" I whispered.
"Get a room!" CC said coming onto the balcony.
Me and Andy turned our attention to CC and we both flipped him the finger.
"Hey Riley, where's your hot blonde friend tonight?" CC asked coming over to us.
That was a good question. "She's actually coming tonight. I should ring her and see where she's at" I said pulling out my phone.
As I sifted through my phone for Kimber's number, I snatched Andy's cigarette and took another drag.
"Do you want one?" He asked.
"Nahh, I'm done" I said blowing smoke in his face.
Andy put the cigarette between his lips and took a drag for himself. He then lined his mouth with mine to blow the smoke directly into me.
"That's how you share a cigartte" he smirked.
I just smiled and shook my head.
I finally got round to calling Kimber so I stepped outside the apartment to be able to hear her.
The phone rang and she answered after the fifth ring.
"Hey."
"Hey, where are you? Did you get lost?" I asked.
"Nahh, I'm pulling up now. I'm gonna guess its the one with the flashing lights and loud music?"
"Yep, your there. It's the eighth floor. Hurry and get up here, CC is asking about you!"
"What!? I'll be there in like two seconds" she said then hung up.
I giggled and put my phone away.
Barely a minute later Kimber was walking out of the elevator and rushing over to me.
"Nice costume" I commented.
"Oh shut up. You know how hard it is to find something decent last minute?"
She was dressed in a sexy Alice in Wonderland costume and had splattered it with blood."You however look awesome! What did Andy do to you?"
"He ripped up some clothes and did my make up, which is a first for me. We are fallen angels."
"Awww! That is adorable! I love couples costumes" she swooned.
"You know... I think tonight is the night..."
Kimber gasped. "Your going to have sex with him finally?!"
"... No... I was gonna say the L word... Do you think I should have sex with him?"
"Sweetie, it's time. He's hung around this long. You got him."
I sighed. "Whatever. Come inside, lets find Andy and CC."
I lead Kimber out to the balcony where I had left them. As we walked through the apartment I saw Sammi and Ella.
"Ohh, I have to introduce you!" I said to Kimber. "Sammi!" I called over the music.
Sammi looked up and I dragged Kimber over.
"Hey Sammi, Ella. This is my friend Kimber. I'm trying to set her up with CC" I said excitedly.
"Hi" Kimber said extending her hand.
"Hey, so you work with Riley?" Sammi asked.
"Uhh, yeah. And we live together. Kinda an instant friendship with us" she smiled sweetly.
"Cute. Riley, I didn't know you were bi" Ella said sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes. Ella wasn't always the nicest. "I'm not. I love Andy and that's it!"
They all looked at me like I'd dropped a bomb... I had dropped a bomb. I'd never said it out loud.
"Were gonna go find the guys" Kimber said pulling me away. "What was that!" She said.
"Uhh... Ella can be a bitch... I was just telling the truth..."
"You said it out loud for the first time and it wasn't to the person who needs to hear it."
"I know. Come on, they're still outside."
As we came onto the balcony Andy, CC, Jinxx and Jake were setting up the table with large red cups and filling them with various beers.
"Are we playing beer pong?" I said as I watched the set up.
"Oh, you're back. Yeah, you can be on my team" Andy said. "Hey Kimber, nice costume" Andy said giving Kimber a grin.
"Shut up" she shot.
"Well hello Alice, welcome to Wonderland" CC said joining our conversation. "Would you like to be on my team?" He asked her.
Kimber smiled at him. "Sure, but I must warn you I can do amazing trick shots" she joke as they went round the other side of the table.
"They're gonna be so cute!" I said looking at them.
"Lets see how cute they are drunk. We're gonna smash this" Andy said toying with the ping pong ball.
"Ready guys?" CC said from the other end of the table.
"Yep. I hope you guys are ready to get drunk" Andy said lining up his shot and swiftly landing it in the front cup. "Drink up."
