Before The Angels Fell

Rileys POV

Discharge day.
Finally, I could get out of this hospital.
"Hey Jamie, ready to go?" Andy said coming up behind me.
"Yeah, almost. Umm, did the doctor leave me any prescriptions?" I said nervously.
"Babe, you know that the doctor wanted you to avoid any prescription drugs. The idea is to cleanse your body of them, not add more" he said wrapping his arms around me.
"I've just been having trouble sleeping."
"No one gets a good sleep in hospital. Come on, I'll take you home."
"Can we go to your place after?"
Andy raised his eyebrows at me in surprise. "Sure, if you want."
I smiled back at him and turned around in his arms to kiss him. "I missed you."
"I missed you too. England sucked. Hey, why didn't you tell anything that was going on?"
"I didn't want to worry you while you were away. I guess I failed at that anyways."
"No, my performance was fine. I was worried though. I told you, you shouldn't take too many" he warned.
"I know. I fucked up. I really didn't wanna be that person."
"It's okay. Come on. Let's get going" Andy said taking my hand in his.

Andys POV

After I took Riley to her apartment to shower and change her clothes I brought her to my house.
She looked so adorable and tired. She had changed into cut off blue denim shorts, black tank top and an over-sized hoodie.
As she walked inside my house I grabbed her around the waist and pulled her against my chest. I leaned down and kissed her softly.
I felt her hands rest on my neck and press me towards her.
"Did you miss these lips?" I said when she pulled away.
"Shut up" she said leaning in and kissing me again. "Hey, please tell me you didn't leave England early just for me" she said still resting her hands on my neck.
"Well, not really. Once Kimber called me and told me you were in hospital we moved one of our shows forward so we could come home early" I shrugged.
"Okay. I would have hated it if fans had to miss out on your show because of me."
"We would have gone back."
"But then you'd be gone again" she whined.
"True. Well lucky I won't be for a while" I said leaning in and giving her a quick kiss.
"Good. Shall we watch a movie or something? I'm so tired."
"I can imagine. Go sit. I'll put something on."
Riley went to go lie down on the couch, grabbing the blanket and covering herself.
I was about to join her when my doorbell rang.
"You expecting anyone?" Riley asked.
"No..." I said unsure of myself.
I crossed the living room to the entrance and opened the front door.
"Hey man, ready to head out tonight?" Ashley said letting himself in.
"Umm, no..." I said.
I watched as Ashley walked into my house then I looked over at Riley, who wasn't paying attention to us.
Ashley followed my gaze and saw Riley.
"Oh, I didn't realise little miss needy was here" he said sarcastically.
"I would hardly say she's needy" I defended.
"Ashley? Is that you?" Riley called out.
She soon appeared in front of us.
"Holy shit Riles, you look like shit" Ashley commented.
Riley's face went from interested to pissed off.
"Nice to see you to Ash. Sorry I bugged you" she said returning to the couch.
"Dude!" I said slapping him on the arm.
"What? I'm only telling the truth."
"You fucking idiot! She just got out of hospital! Why the fuck do you think I was trying so hard to move the shows?!" I yelled.
"Andy, it's fine" I heard Riley call.
"No it's not. He's being a dick!" I said angrily.
"Guys! I'm sorry Riley. I didn't know. Andy why didn't you tell me?" Ashley said calmly.
"Cause it wasn't mine to tell" I went to pull Ashley aside so Riley wouldn't hear us. "Look, me and Riley are still in the getting to know each other stage, but she is obviously going through something and I'm just trying to be there for her. It's some heavy stuff..."
Ashley looked concerned. "Like what?"
I sighed. "She just took too much of her anti-anxiety medication and then mixed it with alcohol. She then got in a car accident on the way to the hospital, crashing her car."
"Ouch... Is she okay?"
"Seems okay... Would be nice if you left and I could actually spend some time with her!"
"Okay, okay I'm leaving. Sorry I bothered you."
"Exactly. Go out with CC" I said pushing him out the front door.
"Fine, I will. Mr boring, you are."
"And I'm perfectly fine with that."
I pushed him out the door, locking it behind him.
I could finally go and cuddle up to Riley, which is all I've wanted to do.
Riley moved the blanket for me to slide under and wrap my arms around her.
"What did Ashley want?" She asked.
"Oh, seeing if I wanted to go out. But I'm with you" I said hugging her tighter.
"Why are you so amazing? No one would ever do what you did for me."
"I'm not amazing. You are adorable and in need of cuddles" I said into her neck.
Riley smiled up at me. "Take your hands in mine, it's ours tonight" she sung.
"This is a rebel love song" I sang back.
"You are so much better. My singing career ends here."
"No! You're good! Trust me, my cat tries to sing with me."
"Well I promise to take the place of your cat."
"Please do."
Riley giggled. "I really like you Andy. I hate that I'm putting you through my drama, but I really appreciate you being here with me."
"I wouldn't have it any other way.”
