Before The Angels Fell

Andys POV

She was so beautiful.
Even in our shaken state after Paranormal Activity 2, she was still beautiful. She was nervously biting her fingernails as she lay across my lap.
I started to stroke her hair and she jumped a little.
"Still jumpy from the movie huh?" I laughed.
She smiled nervously "Maybe, a little."
"Tangled not doing it for you?" I said glancing up at the movie.
"Oh, no, it's fine. You just still have the thought in the back of your head."
I just laughed at her and lent down to kiss her head.
"Who are you?" She said shaking her head.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"You're just so incredible and amazing... I don't even believe any of this..."
"But you're here. How can you not believe it?"
"I've never been this lucky."
"You always talk about your life like it was a nightmare" I commented.
"Because it was. I finally woke up."
"I wish you would elaborate" I said.
"Andy... I'm alone in this world. No one knows me. And... I'm thankful that. I want nothing to do with my past. If I don't talk about it cause it makes it seem like a nightmare that's not real" she said gazing up at the ceiling.
"You. Are. So..."
"So what?" She pried.
"Just... So completely wise" I smiled widely.
She rolled her eyes and playfully hit me.
After that we watched the movie cuddling, but I wanted to know how I was so lucky. I had been so miserable since Scout, and Riley took that all away.
"Well, I better get going" Riley said when the movie had finished.
"What? No! You can't go! Stay the night" I said holding her the couch.
"Andy, I really have to go. I have work tomorrow" she whined.
"No" I said keeping her in my grip.
Andy! Let me go!" She squirmed.
I ignored her and started to attack her with kisses. She stopped resisting me and started to relax them until our lips met.
I pulled myself closer to her, slowly pushing her back to the couch. Her arms wrapped around my neck and her fingers went into my hair.
Her legs intertwined with mine and I started to move my lips down to her neck. I heard a small moan escape her lips.
Her hands started to move down my neck and slide over my t-shirt until they found the hemline. Her fingers lightly traced the skin on my stomach. Like she was debating with herself to go further.
I lightly nibbled her neck then moved back up to her lips.
"No! I can't do this" she said abruptly sitting up and getting off the couch.
I was left there confused as to what just happened.
"What happened?" I said following her off the couch.
She started pacing the living room, stress written all over her face.
"Riley! Hello? Calm down" I said steadying her.
"Andy, I-I can't. I'm just not at that stage. We're not at that stage."
"Riley, I have no idea why you're stressing out. Nothing has to happen. I know we're not at that stage" I said trying to calm her.
"I... I have to go" she said going to find her bag and shoes.
I waited by the front door for her to b ready.
When she finally reach the door she looked up at me.
"I-I'll call you?" She said a little unsure.
"I would like that" I said giving her one of my crooked smiles.
She smiled back and hid her face in her hair.
"Hey, I thought I told you not to do that."
She smiled again and blushed deeply.
"I'll call you?" She said again.
"I'll be waiting."
