Don't Mess With Ouija Boards

[Jinxx's POV]

It was ridiculously early and the bus was going to be here any minute. I drug mine and Everly's bag to the front porch and went back in for Raven's. When I came back out I noticed CC's car was missing. I overheard him whispering to Andy yesterday, I wonder what he's up to...

I turned the corner and ran right into a half awake Andy.

"Where's CC? His car is gone."

"He had to go pick up Ray's birthday present. He'll be back before the bus gets here." He said throwing his bag with ours.

"Do I want to know?"

"Probably not." He said with a chuckle.

I shook my head as I walked off to get the coffee started. If this is how things are starting, we're in for a long tour.

"That smells good." Ash yawned as he shuffled in the kitchen.

After the coffee was ready I took Ever a cup and went to make sure Jake and Raven were up. She was wadded up in the middle of his bed and he was nowhere to be seen.

"Jake I swear to God, if you did what this looks like, I'm going to kill you!" I whispered loudly.

I heard him laughing quietly from the bathroom as the door opened a bit. I walked in and glared at him.

"Definitely wouldn't go there. Besides, from what she said in her sleep, she's a Purdy Girl."
Jake mumbled around his toothbrush.

"Ah, fuck nooooo! Here, time to get the show on the road." I said handing him a cup of coffee.

"Thanks man."

I nodded and went to go wake Raven up.

"Don’t worry about her man, I'll get her on the bus. She had issues getting to sleep." Jake whispered.

"Thanks Jake. Where's your bag? I'll take it out with Ray's."

He pointed to a small mountain by the doorway. I gave him a questioning look.

"My bags, Raven's bags, and I think the rest is CC's bags. He must have stuck them in here at some point.I'll help in a few. Just let me wake up a little more."

"Thanks Jake."

"Don’t forget to make sure Andy is up. We don’t want to forget him again."

We both started to laugh and remembered Ray was still sleeping.

[Everly's POV]

I woke up to my sweet Jinxxy playing in my hair and a hot cup of coffee on the table next to me.

"Wake up babe, it's time to get this tour started." He said before kissing me.

"Can we leave at a normal time, like noon?"

"Unfortunately not. I'll start the shower for you while you drink your coffee."

"You're too good to me, you know that?"

He rolled his eyes before kissing my forehead and leaving me to my coffee. My cup was
empty far too soon. I took my time in the shower, who knows when I'll get another hot shower on this tour. I walked to the closet to find something cute for the day. I know it'll mostly be spent riding in the bus, but I'm still a woman and want to be cute damn it.
I pulled out a pair of fishnets, cutoff shorts, and my favorite black boots. Now which shirt? Vintage Iron Maiden baseball tee, one of Andy's old mutilated BVB tanks, or a PTV tank? I ended up just going with old faithful and grabbed the BVB tank. I got dressed and walked out to the kitchen to scavenge for breakfast.

As I grabbed the bagels and went for the toaster only to see it too high for me to reach. I started to jump to get it and didn't have any luck. I refuse to get Andy or be picked on for needing a chair to get something down again. I looked around to make sure the guys weren't around and grabbed the drumsticks out of my back pocket to knock them down. I just about had it, until Ash scared me and I bumped the toaster a little too hard, making it go on a suicide mission. As I looked down at what was left of the toaster and it's tiny fragments.

"DAMN IT ASHLEY!" I yelled, making Ash laugh.

Two seconds later and I was hurling chunks of bagel at him as I chased him down. I caught him and pinned him down, then started shoving the remainder of the bagel in his mouth and two pieces up his nose.

"What the fuck? Tour hasn't started yet, and it's too early." Andy said walking past us and into the kitchen.

"Ev, what happened to the toaster?" He called.

"Assbutt Ash scared me when I tried to get it down. Now I can't have my bagel, it was the last one too." I pouted.

"I'I'll text CC to have him grab you something on his way back in. The bus just pulled in, so we need to load anyway."

"Thanks Andrew." I said before hauling my toolkit out to the bus.

I got it loaded in a safe spot and went up to the porch for another bag. We had everything loaded when CC pulled up.

"I don't want to know why you were gone so early do I?"

"Just, please, don't be mad at me." He said giving me the puppy eyes.

"You should know better than to piss your tech off right before tour."

"Yeah, but he's for Raven." He said getting the most adorable puppy out of a crate in the back seat.

"Oh, Christian!"

"Why are those words coming from my wife's mouth?" Jinxx said as he came around the corner.

"Look what CC got Ray! Does he have a name yet?"

"His name is Crash, because he's from her favorite drummer." He laughed.

"I thought you said no more animals after Crow." Jinxx chuckled

"But Crash is a cute, sweet little Pomsky!" I crooned as I scratched his ears.

"Ever, would you mind grabbing his crate? Jinxx, can you grab the supplies out of the trunk?"

"I'll make you a deal, I'll walk him while you two do that, and I won't get mad." I told CC.

"Deal. We just have to figure out how to get him on the bus without Raven seeing him."

"That's easy, she's still asleep inside. Jake is going to carry her out to the bus and put her in a bunk." Jinxx told us.

CC got even more excited, "Okay, so we can sneak crash in with her. She can wake up to him. There's a big blue bow for his collar in the bag."

[Jake's POV]

Everything was loaded, I just had to get Raven on the bus and we could get going. Only problem was, she was still in a shirt she stole from me, and her underwear. I quickly dug through my dresser for a pair of jeans. Now how to get them on her...

"Ray, wake up a little. You need to get some pants on before we go. You can go back to sleep after you get them on."

A pillow came flying at me from across the room, hitting me in the face.

"Raven, I'm serious."

"Hi Serious, I'm Ray." She mumbled.

"Not funny. I brought you some jeans."

She just laid there.

"We'll get you a puppy..."

She responded to my request by putting her feet off the bed a little.

"Really Ray?"

She wiggled her toes at me. This should be fun. I scrunched the legs of the jeans up and got them over her feet and to her knees.

"A little cooperation on your half would be nice."

She put her feet back on the bed and lifted her hips and pulled them up the rest of the way, and rolled over.

"Roll back over here, I'll carry you to the bus."

Raven rolled back over to me, I handed her a pillow to hold and scooped her up.
We got down the hall and to the front door I encountered a problem. I managed to flip the lights off, but I still have to open the door.

"Arms around my neck and hold on tight." I told her.

I grabbed the handle and turned. As I backed up to open it, I lost balance, my grip on Raven faltered. Panic rushed through me as I quickly righted myself and got us out the door. That was close.

[CC's POV]

We got everything on the bus and ready to go. I set up Crash's bowls and crate, even though he's probably going to sleep with Raven. I really hope she likes him! Everly had crash in her lap in her room so the surprise wouldn't be spoiled. I saw a worried Jake through the bus window and ran to open the door for him. Raven was softly snoring in his arms.

"What took you so long?" I asked in a hushed tone.

"I had to figure out how to get her to put some pants on, then I had to figure out how to get the door open. I did it though, and I didn't drop her."

"Hurry up and get her in her bunk before she wakes up!" I said a little too loud.

"Shoosh!" Andy said swatting at me pointing at Raven.

Jake walked back to the bunks and got her settled in. We all got settled in and the driver pulled out. As soon as we hit the interstate, I went and got Crash from Ever. He was so cute with his bow on andall curled up asleep next to her.I almost hated to pick him up.

"Can't I hold on to him a little longer CC? He's such a cuddle bug!" Ev protested.

Crash gave me a look of discontent and yawned. I scratched his little ears. "Not a morning puppy? You're definitely meant to be Ray's."

Ever laughed as I walked out and over to Raven's bunk. I pulled the curtain back with my free hand and put Crash in with her. Luckily he curled right up next to her and went back to sleep. I pulled the curtain back into place and went to chill out with everyone else.

[Jinxx's POV]

We'd been riding on the bus for hours, already bored out of our minds. I looked at the clock and realized it was nearly two.

I looked to everyone around me and started to ask, "Has anyone heard anything from -"

A sudden shriek peeled from the back of the bus. "OH MY GOD HE'S SO CUTE!!!!!"

"Raven's up!" Everly shook her head giggling.

She threw back the curtain to her bunk and looked out.

"You're welcome Ray!" CC laughed.

"Really CC? He's amazing!"She hopped out of her bunk and reached back in for her puppy.

She carried the tiny guy in to the lounge and sat next to CC, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"Uncle Jeremy & Everly are going to kill you..." She whispered.

"No one is going to die Ray, Crash is yours. Just remember he's a huge responsibility. He hasn't gone out since we left. We're almost at the first venue, make sure you take him on a long walk." I told her.

"I know how to take care of a puppy Uncle Jeremy." Raven sassed.

"One of us can go with you two if you want." I offered.

She shot me a death glare while fawning over her puppy.

"We'll be fine, we won't get lost. I have my phone if I need you, or any of you need me." She said moving to the floor to play with him, quickly becoming absorbed.

I watched them for a while and looked to CC, "I'm so glad she's got a reason to smile now. Thank you."

A little while laterour bus driveryelled for us that we were at the venue. I looked over to my Raven and caught a glimpse of the little girl she once was.

"Raven come here a minute." I called.

Shecame and sat across from me, Crash living up to his name, came to a stop as he crashed into her legs. Raven giggled and picked him up.

"What's up Jinxxy?"

I smiled and got back to my thoughts.

"Ray, welcome to the first stop on your first tour! Before you walk out that door, always make sure you have your bus door key, cell phone, and wallet. At every stop, make sure you make mental note of what band we're parked next to. Today looks like we're on the end and our neighbors aren't here yet."

She was grinning ear to ear, bouncing with excitement.

Here goes nothing... "Have fun, be careful, here's your key."
