What happens next?

It was 8:45am when I woke up. Lola was still sleeping, (no surprise there) snoring softly. I rolled out of the warm bed and went for a shower. Once I had dried my hair, brushed my teeth, got changed and put my make up on I went to wake Lola up.

When I opened the bathroom door, the smell of coffee hit my nostrils. As I walked out I neared the quiet humming that Lola was making as she poured the coffee into two mugs.

"Alice wake up! This has to be a dream! Lola never wakes up on her own." I said teasingly as I grabbed a mug of coffee and took a sip.

"Ha ha ha, very funny!" Lola said sarcastically. "How's your head? Mine feels like CC is stuck in my skull beating out the tune to 'Perfect Weapon'"

"Poor you, do you need painkillers? I'm fine, I didn't drink as much as you did. I don't think I've seen you drink so much in my life!" I said laughing at the memory of last night.

" Yes to the painkillers and don't blame me for the amount I drank last night, blame Ashley Goddamn Purdy and his drinking games." A grouchy Lola said rubbing her temples. I handed her the painkillers which she gladly took downing three of them.

"I thought you were only meant to take two?" I asked.

"Does this face look bothered? I could of taken the whole packet and not given a monkeys!"

"Okay then. I'd go for a shower or whatever now if I were you, we have to be out of the hotel room by 10. It's now 9:20." I said ushering her to the bathroom.

"Fine, but still haven't packed my clothes from yesterday yet."

"Don't worry about it, I'll pack them for you." I said closing the door behind her.



Whem we got into the car and started to head for home, we decided to go into the centre of London and do some shopping or go somewhere for something to eat.

"Hey Low, do we really need to buy more stuff from over here! I mean we're moving in just under two weeks. Can't we just go for something to eat and then head home to pack?" I asked as we came to a red light.

"Yeah sure, we came always go on a shopping spree to the mall when we get out there. We can even go to a Hot Topic!" Lola squealed.

After about 10 minutes of moving around the chaotic city centre, we came across a Starbucks.

"What do you want?" I asked as we walked through the doors.

"I'll have a hot chocolate and a brownie please. I'll go and grab us a table while you order then." Lola said.

"Okay, see you in a bit." I said as I walked to the counter. I ordered two hot chocolates, a brownie and a blueberry muffin.

As I sat down and handed Lola her hot chocolate and her brownie, my phone started to ring.

"Who is it?" Lola asked as I got my phone out of my bag.

"The destroyer. What? Who's that? Wait a minute, it could be CC." I said as I pressed the answer button. "Hello?" I asked.

"Hey! Bet you can't guess who it is!" I male voice said on the other end of the phone.

"I'm going to guess that it's CC." I replied.

"Damn! How did you know it was me?" He asked. " I didn't even put my name down."

"You're the only one that I know who has a name of 'The Destroyer' it also doesn't help that you and the rest of the band put your own numbers in my phone last night, so you could have put any name for yourselves." I said.

" Fair point." He said sounding a little disappointed.

"Was there a reason that you rang or was it to see if I could guess who it was?" I asked taking a bite of my muffin.

"Oh yeah, there was a reason. I just wanted to ask if you were still in London and what time you we leaving to heading back to Wales." CC breathing heavily. It sounded like he was walking somewhere.

"We are currently in Starbucks but we are heading back home about 4 o'clock this afternoon. Why do you ask?"

"Just wondering if you wanted to hang out and go sight seeing?"

"Sure, where should we meet you?"

"You said you were in Starbucks, correct? Is it the one across for a cafe on High Street?"

"Yep, that's the one."

"Well we will meet you there now in a few. We are just starting to walk up that street now."

"Cool see you in a minute then."

"Okay, byr." With that CC hung up.

"The guys are coming to meet us, they'll be here in a few. Thay are taking us site seeing." I said taking a drink of my now cold chocolate.

"Looks like they are already here." Lola said pointing to the door.

I turned around and saw Ashley and CC stalk over to us. "Hey! Where are the others?" I asked while waving to them.

"They were being boring. Something about catching up on lost sleep." Ashley said taking a piece of Lola's brownie.

"Hey! That's mine! Mits off, go get your own." Lola said slapping his arm playfully.

"Ouch! That hurt you meanie. Now why would I go buy one when I can eat yours?" Ashley asked taking another piece.

"I'll hit you again and-" Lola sarted to say before I cut her off.

"Enough you two, stop flirting, there are children present in the room."

"I agree with Alice, come on let's go sight seeing!" CC said grabbing my hand and escorting me to the door. "Come on you two! Keep up."

"So where are you taking us? Shouldn't we be the ones showing you around? I mean we live closer and you do live in America." I said once we were out on the street, still hand in hand.

"Yeah but I thought it would be nice if we took you instead of you talking us instead, if that makes sense." CC replied whilst we waited for Lola and Ashley to catch up.

"No, but I think I know what you mean." I said while looking at his facial features.

"Now who are the slow coaches? Come on you two, we haven't got all day." Ashley called as he and Lola over took us.




It was about 4:15pm when we got back to the car. We had spent the day looking at all the tourist attractions, like Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. We even had a meal at a very expensive and very posh restaurant. Did I mention it was expensive? Despite mine and Lola's protests, CC and Ashley paid for mine and Lola's meals.

"Hey, we have to stay in touch okay? When you move out to LA give us a ring and we'll take show you around the place. Deal?" CC asked pulling me into a hug.

"Deal but you might not hear from us for a few weeks until we move to LA." I said returning his hug. " we best be off to pack and get ready for the move. Well see you in a few weeks." I said giving Ashley a hug. "Tell the others we say hey."

"Okay, take care of yourselves and we'll see you in a few weeks." Ash said as we got into my car.

"Bye!" Myself and Lola shout as we leave the car park waiving to the two figures that are getting smaller in size as each second passes.

"So, how'd you like your surprise?" Lola asked looking at me.

"It was amazing! No words can describe it! Thank you so much! Now the next thing to look forward to is the move to LA!" I said excitedly.

The rest of the car journey was quiet, mainly because Lola fell asleep 45 minutes into our journey.

When I dropped Lola off at her house and got back to mine, I changed into my pj's and sent CC a text saying that we had arrived home safely. Before he could reply I knocked my phone off and fell into a deep dreamless sleep, glad to be back in my own bed.
