Finding Grace

"She needs to be destroyed!" I hissed, pacing back and forth in front of Andy where he sat on the couch, looking down at his phone; his attention had waned about twenty minutes into my ranting.
We were on his bus, and the rest of his guys were sprawled about listlessly, resting after playing several shows in the hot sun. Ashley was on his laptop in the chair, and Jake was in the back talking to his woman; Jinxx had stepped out to get some snacks or something.
CC had disappeared with Vale about an hour ago.
"She does, babe," Andy agreed with me; all he kept doing was making agreeable comments and it was starting to get on my nerves.
And I couldn't rant on my bus, it might be bugged.
"I bet she bugged our bus!" I hissed again. "There's no telling how many times she's been on there! And I still haven't got her back for sleeping with you!"
That got his attention.
He looked up at my words, and Ashley glanced up from his laptop, his brows rising into his hairline.
"Uh, Leah, that was a long time ago." Andy mumbled, looking embarrassed. "And a big mistake."
I glared at him.
Ass.
"And you could have just talked to me about it instead of going off on a tizzy and screwing the first available girl!"
Andy looked at me sourly; we'd already had this fight but I felt like I needed to make a point and remind him.
Plus she was evil, and not even that pretty!
And her glasses were stupid.
She was just stupid.
Stupid.
"Leah, why don't you sit down before you wear yourself out?" Ashley suggested, looking amused. "Should you really be tirading around and trying to punch people in your condition?"
"I swear to god if I hear that saying ONE more time ---."
"How about we get some ice cream?" Andy interrupted, sighing. "There's an ice cream shoppe down the road."
I frowned. "Do they have peanut butter?"
"Probably. Wanna go get some?"
"I need twizzlers." I frowned more.
"What for?"
"For the ice cream," I rolled my eyes.
Ash wrinkled his nose. "And I thought your food combinations were weird before."
I stuck my tongue out at him as Andy hefted himself to his feet, intertwining his fingers with mine as we left the bus.
"Maybe she'll cheat on him and I can get proof," I muttered thoughtfully.
"Leah," Andy sighed. "Why not just let that relationship steer its own course?"
"Why are you suddenly speaking like a sailor? Andy, she's bad for him! She's Cruellas daughter! We need to keep her away from him!"
"Lee, I think your mothering instincts are kicking in a little early."
I scowled at him.
No they weren't.
We stepped into the parlor and walked to the counter where a girl with gauges rivaling Balz stood in a dorky uniform, looking miserable. Her hat even had a little ice cream cone sticking off of it on a spring.
That would be such a cute baby hat!
Would they give me one if I asked?
"What can I get you?" she mumbled, staring down hatefully at the cash register.
"Chocolate shake and ---."
"Peanut butter ice cream with a lot of whip cream and sprinkles," I said, looking at the toppings. "And cherries. Oh and gummy bears too. And the M&Ms!"
Andy frowned at me. "You hate M&Ms."
"Not at the moment."
The girl had looked up at some point of my order, and now she was just staring at us with an open mouth, the order only half written down.
"What--- I mean, how did you--?" she stuttered, staring at us.
"Even rockstars like ice cream," Andy sent her his signature grin, and I think she and most of the ice cream melted.
"I'll get your order!" she squeaked, hustling away from us.
"Don't make her nervous, she might get the order wrong," I grumbled, plopping down in a metal chair. Andy chuckled, sitting beside me and spreading his arm along the back of the chair, pulling me against him.
I sighed, leaning my head against his shoulder.
"I love you, Leah," Andy murmured, pressing his lips against my forehead.
"I love you, too," I smiled.
"Here you guys go," the girl suddenly appeared, and I looked happily at my ice cream as I saw all my requested toppings.
"Thanks," I glanced at her tag, "Charlotte."
She beamed.
"So you like our music?" Andy asked, sipping his shake, and she nodded, gazing at us.
"Yes! But I couldn't make it to Warped this year because I had to work," she sighed. "I'm trying to buy a car."
"Mm. Cars are over rated," I said around my spoon. "I don't have one."
Andy rolled his eyes; I nearly freaked out every time he drove his new Mustang now because I was so afraid the brakes would go out again and I would have to go to the hospital.
I definitely couldn't handle that now.
I nibbled on a cherry, and grimaced, putting my hand on my stomach as I cramped.
Ow.
"Babe?" Andy looked at me worriedly. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," I mumbled, "just cramps. It's normal."
Andy hesitated, stroking my hair, and Charlotte looked at him longingly, obviously thinking I must be on my period and Andy was the most caring and attentive boyfriend ever.
Please.
I had worked hard to get him to care more and it took getting pregnant to do it.
I sighed.
I suddenly didn't feel very well.
Charlotte and Andy chatted, and she took a quick picture with him after she jerked her silly hat off.
"They should make baby hats like that," I mumbled, amd Andy sent me an amused look as he paid the bill, leaving the girl a really good tip.
We shuffled to the door and out, and I frowned, stopping in my tracks halfway down the sidewalk.
"Leah?" Andy looked at me in concern, and I hesitated, feeling another intense cramp.
Something wasn't right.
