What's The Point

Skyler POV..

'SKYLER GET UP AND OUT OF BED, ITS YOUR FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL!' thats my morning alarm called mom.

My name is Skyler, im 15 and just moved to L.A., my brother died and my mom thinks its a good idea to move me away from everything i love, my friends, but also suicide attempts and bad memories. My father left us when i was 6, claiming he would raise an emo fag. I trudged into the bathroom and looked in the mirror, I saw im not perfect, but I dont care. I brushed my hair, teased the top and straighten it at the bottom. When I was finally happy with my hair I moved onto my make up, thin eyeliner on my bottom eyelid, the eyeshadow on the top eyelid, and eyeliner to shape it. I pulled out a motley crue T-shirt and ripped skinny jeans, grabbed my skateboard and misfits rucksack and put it on, ran down stairs.

'BYE MOM' i bellowed

'Wait be...' was all i heard as i ran out the house.

I hopped on my skateboard, and headed to school. When I arrived I followed the sign that said reception.

'Hello how can I help you' the lady said way to cheery.

'Um.. Im new and i need my schedule' I said

'Name please'

'Skyler, Skyler Robbins'

'Ok... here you go.'

'Thanks' I say taking my schedule

I head down the corridor and everything is silent. 5 boys walk through the doors with there heads down, then whispering starts when 6-7 jocks step out into the corridor.

'Well well well.... what do we have here 5 emo fags. Why dont you just all go piss off and die no one wants you here, you'd be doing the world a favour.' The middle jock says in a mocking tone.

'Piss off chase' The tallest boy says.

The boy who i take as Chase grabs the boy by his shirt collar and punches him in the face and throws him to the ground. I walk up and step in front of 'Chase'.

'Oi SLUT move out the way NOW!' He shouts at me

'Or what' I ask like Im not doing anything bad.

He grabs my thoat, i throw my hand on his wrist and he hisses, 'Is that all you got' he says laughing 'Nope'

I kick him in the balls and he lets me go then i punch him in the nose hearing a 'CRACK'

'You have no right to treat these people like that!' I yell and turn round to face the other boys. I reach my hand out to help him up, he hesitated at first but then takes it and i pull him up.

'Are you ok' I ask he nodded in response. By now everyone had gone to there lessons and we weren't far behind.
