My Midnight Stalker

Layla's POV

It was really CC. No demon possessing him. I ran into the kitchen and hugged him. I gave him a kiss on the cheek too.

He pushed me off and stared at me. "What are you doing?" He asked in shock.
"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Layla, I'm sorry. But we're done." He said in a sad tone. He got up to leave but I pulled him back down.

"W-Why?" I asked in tears. This wasn't CC.

"Layla, I know about these-these demons and stuff." I gasped. He wasn't supposed to know.

"How?"

"When I was possessed by that demon, I saw everything that happened. Most people don't know the've been possessed or remember that stuff, but I did. I killed people. I almost killed you!" He cried. He was in tears now. I went over to him and gave him a hug.

"Layla, I don't want to hurt you." He looked up into my eyes and I cried.

"But I don't want to lose you." I said. He pulled me into his arms, for this would be the last time.

"Sometimes we have to let the ones we love go." He said, smiling. "I love you. I won't forget you. I want you to love somebody that will be there for you. I have a couple of names in my head."

"What do you mean by somebody that will be there for you?" I asked between sobs.

"Crowley gave me a day to be demon free. Then I become demon forever, his servant." I froze and let out a blood curdling cry.

"Di- Did you make a d-deal?" I asked in fear.

He didn't respond for a while. "It was to protect you." He smiled.
I pulled him in and my head was against his, our foreheads touching.

"You'd do that for me?"

"Of course." He pulled me in for a long kiss, possibly our last one.

I broke out of it and looked into his eyes. "What did Crowley want?"

"He-He wanted you." I never broke contact from his eyes.

"W-Why would he want me?"

"Rowena." He said flatly. The witch. "Rowena wanted you dead. She knows you're the most powerful witch. I told him if he kept you alive, I'd work for him and you'd let Rowena have the title. You will also keep your witchcraft down." I cried more and more.

"But now you're going to be gone." I cried.

"It was the right decision. I had a little help from Jinxx." I looked up and smiled at Jinxx, my wonderful angel best friend. "But Crowley said that Rowena will come for someone else that I knew." At that time, I didn't know what he meant about Rowena coming for another friend. If I just would of looked away from his brown captivating eyes, then I could of ended everything right there. But I didn't, I kept looking into his eyes.

"I'll miss you, CC. I'll come for you. I'll get you out of Hell."

"You can't. If you break the deal then you die." He said in tears. "I'd rather live a life in hell while working for Crowley to save you from the witch, then have you go evil and hurt people around you." My slaty tears could make a river.

We sat in silence for a while. My head on his shoulder and his arms around my back. I pulled back and his shirt was soaked.

He checked his watch and lifted my chin up.

"It's my time to go." He said through tears. I wiped the tears from my face. "Stay strong."

"I love you CC. I won't forget you. I will always love you."

"Layla, you can't. You need to move on and let things go. This is our last time together. I would kill me if you stayed hooked on me forever. Jinxx will keep an eye on you. I've told him some things."

He pulled me into a deep kiss, our tears meeting at our lips. I looked into his eyes for the last time and nodded. I would be strong. He slipped a note into my hand before walking out of my life forever.
