A little story about me

I took Illiana to The Bean. Its a small coffee house in SoCal where we meet up with CC and Ash once a week. It became a habit of mine over the past year. While Illiana was lost CC, Ash and I came here to talk and try to find any details we might have forgotten from that night at the bar, that stupid night. I pushed Illianas wheelchair over to the only handicap accessible table and we waited for the boys. CC arrived first he always looked cool dressed in all black. Then arrived Ashley Purdy with his leather vest and tight black skinny jeans, that man is the definition of Rock Chic. Illiana looked up as Ash walked in looking him over she smiled. Ash kissed her cheek as he sat down with us. The waitress came over at that moment to take our orders. CC and I both got our coffee black, Ash ordered a coffee with Baileys and Illy ordered the sweetest thing on the menu, A chocolate chip cookie dough hot chocolate. When the drinks arrived we all stared at Illianas drink. It had a mountain of whipped cream on top of a slab of cookie dough that floated in hot chocolate and to top off the whole thing, it was covered in chocolate sprinkles with icing around the glass.

"You are going to have the worst sugar hangover." Ash stated. Illiana shrugged "Better than the actual hangover youre gonna have." she said nodding at his mug as he poured Irish whiskey in his coffee. CC and I chuckled at the exchanged and sipped our drinks. "did you speak with your lawyer today?" CC asked. Illiana nodded sullenly. "When's the court date?" I prodded. Illiana looked up at me when she answered "On the anniversary of my kidnapping." She quickly looked down and became occupied with her heartattack in a cup. I gave CC a sad look and he placed his hand on my shoulder silently trying to comfort me. Ash leaned over to Illiana and spoke quietly to her. "Illy, I promise we will all be there to support you. This man needs to be put away for life. Even if he is law it doesnt make him above it." I said angrily. Illiana looked up at me with tear filled eyes and nodded. She then faced Ash who hugged her tight. The conversation quickly changed to topics that cant hurt like the weather, shopping, bills, and other normal things.

When our drinks were empty Ash stood up and asked Illiana if she wanted to go to the park. When she agreed Ash gave CC a wink and left with my best friend. CC held out his hand for me and I took it. We left the little coffee house and started walking down main street. He was talking about his music and the band. I loved hearing about it but I just couldnt stop thinking about Illiana. We stopped suddenly and CC pulled me into a shop with a sign that said " space available for rent" and had a number listed. "Um, CC... I don't think we should be in here." I said looking around me at the wide empty space. CC turned and grinned at me. "Actually I just signed the lease earlier today I'm thinking of opening a recording studio for aspiring artists. We'd mainly focus on Demos and EPs. I can hook them up with connections and help them get signed."He went on about his vision telling me about how it'll look and how hes going to hire people and so on. I nodded politely like I knew what he as talking about and acted excited when I should. Thats when he pulled me close and kissed me.

Wow. Just... Wow. I kissed him back. The feeling of his lips pressed against mine was out of this world amazing. I couldn't believe that he would even consider, but Wow. I looked up into his eyes as we slowly pulled away. He laid his forehead against mine gently and smiled at me. "I've wanted to kiss you since you fell into my arms that night. It was just never the right time." he told me. I smiled up at him. "I've wanted you to kiss me since then as well. Kiss me again?" and he did.
